I think it should be more like hockey. If you are within five yards of the sideline and headed directly to the sideline and aren't interfering with or participating in the play, then the flag shouldn't be thrown

Agree ...so dumb a team gets a free play when the player is literally a foot away from being on the sidelines when ball is snapped.

Yeah, as much as weather scares me I can't imagine Rodgers beating us anywhere with what he has to throw to and suspect protection. Richard should be like a kid in a candy store scheming for them, although AZ strangely isn't bothering Rodgers much. I keep waiting for AZ do something on either side of the ball here.
