    The only way this deal makes sense is: 1. We win the Super bowl. 2. He is extended before free agency. As a coach I love Pete Carroll but as a trader I hate him. He got where we are by having great drafts. Trading away your future rarely works just ask Denver.

    Just for the record, Thomas lasted 1 year before every single Raven player voted him off the team. No team picked him up. Although I am not sure of the outcome, the Raven's said they had cause not to honor his contract. Perhaps Carroll was not responsible for burning the bridge.

    I strongly disagree. Wilson was never rated better than the 9th best quarter in any year he played. He only had 17 300 yard games in Seattle. He threw 4 interception in a conference final and lost a Super bowl. His last year here he was godawful. Yet the over whelming contributors on this board...

    If only Russel Wilson was judged as harshly. People would have been much happier when he got traded. I thought many times the play calling put Geno in rough spot. Granted the 2 interceptions were brutal. I have full confidence he will be back starting this weekend.

    Yes, he did have 19 tackles and everyone is raving about him. I thought he looked slow, I am not sure I would play him on 3rd downs.
