At least you have the "good ol days" to look back upon fondly. We've had very little to get excited about for 35+ years, so forgive us if we get a little hyper critical after losses.

When you're like us and not used to being this good, it's hard to know how to act.

I am from Florida, but I "picked and chose" the Rams as "my team" in 1977, so I've experienced "good old days" and some pretty crappy ones as well.

I'm also a diehard Miami Heat fan, and have been since the team was established in 1988. So, once again, I've seen good days (like, say, right now) and bad ones as well.

Ok, let's get this straight. The disgreements are not due to those who point out passive aggressiveness taking anything too personally. (That suggestion, though, is getting personal.)

The issue is this: You can tell someone or a group of people something and still do so granting them dignity. The OP didn't rise above that line.

If someone disagrees with him or takes issue... he goes on the attack. (So, who's exactly taking it personally?) He can apparently never be wrong or have no fault? He calls someone out since they wrote "all" his posts (as hyperbole), and in his insulting response to the person who said and knowingly projects upon that poster only the possible literal meaning of "all" and attacks that strawman. (Again, he always has to be right.) But, when he says "You Guys make me laugh" (directed at an indeterminate number of posters) and comes across as a sweeping generalization of Seahawks nation... that's alright to give him a pass and even praise him for that sort of approach? Ok, then.

I would have been impressed if he would not be so defensive and try to see the honest criticisms that some felt worth mentioning - because those commenting on his communication style are not just trying to belittle the guy.... but, take the time since he's a part of the .net community which says he's worth mentioning it to and worth it for the community. I think the only reason Pehawk and others gave a rip to even try mentioning something is that Avenger isn't coming in and being blatantly rude.

Something tells me that we're not the first people to try to point some of this out in his life. If so, that's a far more important consideration than whether or not Avenger is deemed a passive troll on an opposing team's board.

I suggested that Seahawks fans should be less critical of their team and enjoy the great era they find themselves in... OH MY GOD! I SHOULD BE BANNED FOR SUCH AN OFFENSIVE SENTIMENT!

One of the reasons I come here from time to time is that I get tired of the constant whining on Rams sites (including ClanRam). Sure, we have problems, but you'd think that we were LITERALLY in the Bridgewater sweepstakes (we're not, of course) by the way some Rams fans rip the team.

Hardly the point of this thread, but since you mentioned it, I'll take Michael Brockers, Janoris Jenkins, Alec Ogletree, Stedman Bailey, Zac Stacy and a 2014 first round pick over a QB who, though talented, is going to have a hard time staying healthy.
