They already gave up the season after Judge was injured for 2-3 months.

Just like the Angels but

With next season if Cole and Rodon can get it going, then they will still be the favor team.

That's with a $279 million payroll, second to the Mets and more than twice the Ms' ($134 million). I guess money can't buy everything.

I grew up a Red Sox fan I have a lot of distaste for the Yankees but IMO baseball just isn’t the same without the Evil Empire in contention fans dont just watch a game for their favorite team but also for the teams they hate and want to see lose. I was living in the Boston area in the 80s and remember going to NY for Yankee/Red Sox games.

There is nothing as invigorating as walking around the streets of NY wearing Sox gear it helps to have a thick skin.

The Yankees have a terrible line up. I actually think it's worse than the M's. Stanton is done. Volpe is struggling as a rookie. Bauer (ex M) isn't very good. It's an old team. Judge and Rizzo can't do everything. It's hilarious they messed up this bad.

I think there's often a risk to wearing swag in any city other than San Diego or Green Bay. Especially of those two teams on enemy turf.

They’ve lost nine in a row. Most since 1982. 41 years. If George were still around they all would have already been fired. If they lose tomorrow it will be the longest losing streak for them since 1913. The first year they were actually called the Yankees. Wow!

Is everyone else enjoying the dumpster fire that is the 2023 Yankees? They have lost seven in a row, are getting curb stomped, have a -26 run differential, and will be missing out on the playoffs.
I'm a certified Yankee hater.

Man, I wish the Yankees could have won today and lost yesterday, instead. Ten game losing streak would have been epic.

I'm not complaining, but, how in the hell did the Yankees just clench a series against the Assholes?
