Seattle has the secondary to match up with Detroit’s pass game

Witherspoon, Woolen, Love can square up nicely with St. Brown, Williams and La Porta better than most teams can
I think the real strength of detroits pass game is pass blocking to give Goff time . Should be a good game .

It will be nice if we can cover La Porta better than Henry.
I’m thinking New England had a non existent pass game so Seattle intentionally left Henry on his own to somewhat make the Patriots be predictable in their passing attack.

That way the only direction Brisset could pass was to Henry leaving Seattle to be able to cover everything else well for New England to not do anything else?? Possibly??

Basically, this left New England very predictable. They couldn’t move the ball through the air in the second half well enough to move the chains enough…

That would be a bold strategy, and one that netted the Pats a lot of yards.

The spread is now at Seattle -4.5, which still seems a bit high to me.

I'll predict that it settles at Seattle -4.

Pretty close prediction at -4. It's dropped to -4.5. I've listened to some national football guys comment that -4.5 at this point with no Tua being "disrespectful" to the Hawks

Whatever the spread is the national media is continuously being disrespectful to the Hawks, with occasional exceptions.

I thought that initial spread of +6.5 was pretty rich at any rate.

Must be the guys I follow then who are pretty pro-Seahawk. The comment I heard this morning was from Rosenthal with Steve Wyche and Patrick Clabyon. One of Sheil Kapadia's bets going into the season was for the Hawks to make the playoffs. I hope I am not just seeking guys out who are pro-Hawks!

I watch NFL Network and ESPN NFL's shows and they have no problem talking about all the 2-0 teams, except...

You guessed it...

Your Seattle Seahawks.

It's like just talking about the Seahawks will give you herpes or something.

They'll start talking out the Hawks when the Rams lose again and when SF loses again as well. Already they are slobbering over AZ.

While spread has been reduced the Hawks will beat MIA by more than 4.5 points.

You, I and everyone else should be used to it now, we have to shove their misplaced bias right down the cameras throats and brutalize some Legacy team that has been anointed the next 60's Green Bay Packers Dynasty, embarrass them on National TV, then listen for a half season about our unbelievable luck against the Golden Children of the league.

Be the Black sheep and relish it, be feared like the LOB and Davis Raiders, embrace the hate when it come. We know us and the Seahawks, respect is supposed to be earned, here in Seattle the Media doesn't follow that mantra, taking and shaking them by their short hairs till they begrudgingly say yes, The Seahawks are for real takes a lot of time. At Least we now have a Pharaoh up here in Egypt.

Perhaps that's why I am starting to lean towards pods. The national "nerds" that do those seem to like our team.

Any given Sunday.

We should be in control all game, every once in awhile this great game reminds you it is a game, and most starters at key positions in the league have the talent to have a great game out of nowhere.

Preaching to the choir I think, but the best thing about this game for us is that the D can be challenged to stop the run, big time.

This season is starting out with stars aligning, loooooooooooooong way to go, but some things like this happened for the 2013 squad too.

I echo a thanks to Pete for the champion mindset, Seattle was long deserving of it and it will not be forgotten. Now it continues with little Mac, you better believe stopping the run is at the top of his list this week, put up or shut up.
