Russell just needs to be firm with the Broncos Front Office and insist that they get him a couple All-Pro tackles during the off-season to protect their investment! Small price to pay...
No worries, Broncos just signed Kyle Fuller to protect Wilson, a huge step in the right direction. Signing of Fuller and releasing Risner the OG that stood with Wilson at the tunnel, surely will make Wilson's life in the pocket more enjoyable.

But Russell took all the cap money with his big contract
Yup. But Russell, just like Tom Brady, is known for restructuring his deal to allow the team to sign more talent. Besides, Russell, like Brady, has a celeb wife who makes bank too, so money isn't the #1 thing. Besides, Russell is determined his legacy will be that he broke Brady's record with 8 rings, and he needs top-tier talent around him. We all saw how the Broncos sideline responded to Russell with admiring gazes while he was telling them they must yell "PASS!" or "RUN!" on each play, pure leadership in action. The front office just needs to step up and do their part and the Donks next Lombardi within 2 years is a slam dunk.

Now is it clear I'm having some fun at Russell's expense? /sarc

Yup, the Broncos outbid the Seahawks for Fuller. Hawks will sure miss Fuller's Special Teams production. Clear upgrade for Wilson's protection, just like Wilson's early days in Seattle with elite pass protectors Michael Bowie and Alvin Bailey. Nice salary cap win for the Donks too. I'm sure Russell's loving it! /sarc

Here comes the "but they had so many injuries" or "Hackett's fault" excuses. (Not here so much but from the Russ apologists there) Yes they had injuries. But by the time key guys like Williams and Bowles went down, they were already struggling on O. It wasn't like they were functioning well and then the wheels came off after guys got hurt.

John63/DeandC (or whatever Donks ID he uses) hasn't been seen in these parts in awhile, at least not by me. Last sighting for me was in someone's sig, I think BlueTalon, not John63 himself.

Not even Fade seems to be advocating we should have kept Russ. He is still, at last check, arguing how bad Pete and his staff suck.

Sure miss me some John63, or DeanDC, without him, making fun of Russ just isn't as enjoyable 😔😭😔
