Colin Kaepernick is 1-2. Robert Griffin III is 0-and-III. Andrew Luck is taking a short, happy rest along the early stretch of his road to Canton while his team invests in a running game. Meanwhile, Wilson has the helm of the best team in the NFC and is doing it basically without any receivers. He's a third-round magician who could not care less that all those other guys got picked on Thursday night instead of Friday.

Interesting perspective, is this what they think outside Seattle? I like our receivers. Not a flashy bunch, but reliable and spunky.

everything is pretty much measured in 100 yard games and 1000 yard seasons, something our receivers haven't been known for for a long long time.

I hear that a lot about our WRs from other fans who don't watch our games. In fairness, if your definition of a good WR group is getting consistently open, then yeah, our WRs aren't the best. However, they have other qualities that are outstanding, namely catch rate, not fumbling, deep threat ability, and running after the catch.

There aren't no big name guys in the WR corps, but they are tough and reliable.

Tate is pretty damn good at squirting through the D, sometimes I don't know how he does it.

They're a bunch of one-dimensional guys who are really good at their one dimension. They also share the clutch gene with Russell Wilson. I'm pretty much done complaining seriously about our WR's, although I am really intrigued at what Jermaine Kearse can do now that he can see.

On topic, Manning has MVP in the bag. He's maybe the best QB to ever play the game, and he's having a career year.

A bit early in the season to declare that, don'tcha think? A lot can happen between now and week 17.

our recievers don't put up sexy numbers, most opposing fans only look at numbers , not game film..

Matter of fact over on the Colts board just after their victory , one poster went as far as to say, i like RW but they do not worry me a bit, fortunately he's throwing to one of the worst recieving corps in the league, i just about spit out my cheerios reading that. He obviously didn't see the GB game

Barring Peyton being hit by a meteor, he has it in the bag.

I actually like every receiver on our roster for the first time in a long time.

I could imagine injuries to a couple of players that would severely alter his shot at MVP. Just saying it is still a way to go, early MVP races don't always turn out the same at the end of the year.

It won't matter. Even if Wilson had comparable stats to Manning, Peyton gets it by default because of confirmation bias.

Let Russell Wilson get the Super Bowl MVP, that's the better award
