Upcoming three game series that are starting today.

Baltimore @ Toronto
Tampa Bay @ NYY
KC @ Minnesota

I’m not even paying attention to Cleveland anymore, looks like they might run away with the division. We need to take advantage of the schedule, Baltimore, Tampa Bay and Toronto playing tough teams.

Yeah, that's why it's so disappointing losing a series to Texas. Not much room left for error and with our rivals in the WC hunt playing tougher schedules, it can be easy to lose focus. Can't do that. Like someone said above, Angels always play us tough. Need to step up.

At the same time, after beating them 9 in a row, it's not the end of the world. They should have won 2 of 3. But they've won 10 of 12 from them. Still total domination.

We are back as the top WC team. Hopefully Yanks give us some help today. We may need to start watching CWS. They are slowly heating up and have the talent to make a late push. I'd worry more about them than Minnesota. Like the AL East, the AL Central will beat up on each other.

Toronto also looks like they are completely struggling.

Hopefully Yankees can regain momentum. We need them to beat up on the AL East. They are not doing that.

Just ecstatic that the Yanks no longer have much of a chance of tying or breaking the 116-win record like people were thinking earlier this season. A reason why winning the season series against them was especially satisfying.

It's absolutely fantastic that we currently lead the WC. Don't need to watch other teams, just ourselves.

Not that we need help from the Yanks, or any other team at this point, but thank you anyway! Any extra bit of cushioning we can get is welcomed because you never know what'll happen in baseball.

Like I said above, as long as we keep winning it doesn't matter what other teams do.

But it is nice to see our competitors getting beat. ;)

Here are the upcoming series.

Cubs @ Baltimore today for just one game, must be a make up game.

Toronto starts a four game series today at NYY
KC starts a four game series today at Tampa Bay
Boston starts a three game series tomorrow at Baltimore
Texas starts a three game series tomorrow at Minnesota
CHW starts a three game series tomorrow at Cleveland

So we will be rooting for the Yankees, KC, Boston, and Texas.

Still more than 45 days of regular season baseball to play, but if the Yanks are unable to disengage from their rut and the Rays and/or Jays keep winning, whoa! The Rays/Jays could conceivably take over the top spot in the AL East, and the Yanks could find themselves in the wild card horserace. Not predicting that'll happen or anything, but it will be fun watching them get real uncomfortable with their AL East first-place lead gradually shrinking over the next few weeks, if current trends continue.

Tampa Bay starts a four game series today hosting LAA.

White Sox have one game today @ KC, must be a make up game.
Then starting tomorrow they go to Baltimore for a three game series.

Blue Jays start a three game series tomorrow at Boston.

Twins start a three game series tomorrow at Houston.

Guardians start a two game series tomorrow at SD.

Looks like we are rooting for KC, Boston, Houston and SD. Hopefully White Sox and Baltimore beat up on each other. This would be a great time to take advantage of the schedule as most everyone is playing tough competition.
