Gun running needs to be a fairly prominent component of the offense, but on 4th and half a yard?

What are we doing?

Losing possession, and likely giving up a score. Don't expect last week's performance to be a yardstick for how good the team actually is. Remember the Saints are a very bad team.

It works, and it's important to open up the gun passing game... but that's about the worst time to ever do it. Unless youre running the read option, which they were not.
This team hasn't shown it can execute it well.

Not one run under center. Why do we seem to resort to same offense even when changing coordinators.

And if it worked, everyone would be calling it "gutsy" and "unexpected".
