2021 the Titans at Seattle with Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry. With 10 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, Seattle was up 24 to 9. The Titans had been running the ball with Henry getting 3.6 ypc with 34 carries. Even with the poor ypc, and Seattle being up 15 points, Tennessee kept running it. At 10:37 in the 3rd, Derrick Henry broke loose for a 9 yard run for a TD, and you could see the start of fatigue in our defense.

At 13:06 in the 4th quarter, Seattle scored a 68 yard TD. Fans were feeling good, Tennessee kept running the ball. And at 12:17 left in the 4th quarter, Henry busted a 60 yard run for a TD, score: 23 - 30 Seattle.

With 0:29 seconds left in the 4th, Henry scored another rushing TD, tying the game, and sending it to OT, which the Titans won with a FG.

Moral of the story? Even if it's not working at first, Run the Damn Ball! (You hear that Grubb?) Which is what we have been doing, and it is working, because it increases TOP which keeps the opposing defense on the field, and allows your defense to be fresh!
