In the real world??? If Ursua catches the ball short then it prolongs the game but if he catches the ball in the endzone it's a win. As we saw, there's a big difference between the two. If your argument is that Russ couldn't have fit the ball into the planned window then I think you should consider re-watching the play; Ursua was open.therealjohncarlson":15krpyu5 said:An error? It was 4th down are you serious?? In what world is coming back to the ball so you can have a better chance at keeping the game alive making an error?
What if we tried slot receivers that also block better? We could line them up tight with the formation and maybe call them tight ends or something.Largent80":15krpyu5 said:How about the novel idea of using TWO slot receivers?

Rookie or not, you gotta' know the situation. But, that was a huge 4th down conversion, so there is that. I look forward to seeing what the kid can do. But how do you not just push your body back towards the end zone?? Easy TD from the angle of that defender.

You know there's a problem when people who know nothing about football, start to identify things before the coaching staff.. He's going to have an impact on Sunday if he gets some targets- I'm certain it.
