Can't believe I'm saying this but he has played very well as of late. Little to no penalties and has done a real nice job on pass protection which was his real achilles heal. Whatever the reason I hope he keeps it up.

I don't think I heard his name once today. Good sign. Can't say the same about Fluker though.

Ifedi has often played much better than most people give him credit for.

I think he had one penalty today. Generally I haven’t heard his name much, which is a good sign with offensive lineman.

I have to agree. He has been the whipping boy here but the past few years he has improved.

Incorrect. Per the Gamebook, only Fluker had a penalty today.

He did give up a sack (or helped), but otherwise, yes, he's absolutely improved since a shaky September.

Nice to see a post acknowledging comebacks. Usually a player's improvement goes unnoticed for two months until he has a bad game and gets crucified as if the improvement never happened.

I think the answer is simple. Mike Solari.

Unlike the disaster Tom Cable.

He was solid - I still would rather let some other team overpay him and take the comp pick.

Anyone recall if he's ever had a 2-3 game stretch like this? Maybe after all these years, he's finally turned the corner just in time for the new contract...

And he is getting used to being a tackle. It takes time. Not every player shines right away.
