Every week it’s like a plague across the league. Kickers missing extra points. It’s beyond baffling to me. Anyone else noticing how prevalent it is and any ideas why?

Now with the increases difficulty it makes coaches take the option of kicking or going for 2 serious. Especially in games were weather is a major factor the missed extra point has made for some great finishes to games that might of been just out of reach. The make % went from a perennial 99% to just above 93%, it has altered many games. Couldn’t find the stats but I would think that blocked XP’s have gone up which is always fun...except against us

Sorry but sign me up. I think that's precisely what they should do. Get rid of the stupid extra point all together. Every TD is 7 points and be done with it.
I like this idea but force them to try for two..Kickers would only be neededkidhawk":uiqvxm89 said:Aros":uiqvxm89 said:Threedee":uiqvxm89 said:One of the best compromises of the past thirty years in the NFL. The alternative was to eliminate the single point PAT and just count every TD as 7 points.

If they were going to just make them 7 they could just as easily make them 6 and eliminate the extra point. Overall, it's the same thing. Only changes the final score of the game.
Personally, I think they should be allowed to kick it from the same spot that they go for two. Make it more interesting as teams won't know if you are going to kick the EP or go for two.

Other than the fact your kickers are on the field
I think moving it back has been a great rule. It should not be an automatic point.

No, not really, at all. you would just need to make 2 fg's to tie.. nope, gotta be 7.
