Alex Collins show tonight. If he’s not on the team week 1....Then I’m not sure what they are looking for.

Our OL play was a lot better this week. Collins played himself into the #2 RB spot tonight. At least to me he is the main backup. Our overall running game looked pretty good. Both Geno and Mannion played smart and didn't give the ball away. Eskridge had a real nice catch. The other WR's did fine. In all, a pretty decent offensive effort.
Our LB play tonight was really good. Barton solidified himself as the main backup if not a possible starter at SLB. Bellore did a real good job both in run support and coverage. Even Rhattigan made some nice plays in the second half. I think we have a solid LB room right now. Our DE play looked good with Taylor showing his speed and bend off the edge for a good looking sack. Robinson just looked solid to me with a decent sack. Our DT depth still is a concern and it impacts our rush D rotation. I would have liked to have seen Nkemdiche play this game even though I know he is still hurt. Our secondary will be an interesting decision for PC and Norton. Hard to say which way they will go right now.
Special teams was solid with a real nice punt at the end by Dickson. I'm real glad he is our punter. That is a weapon!

They played much more aggressive tonight and not bend but don't break defense.

Not sure why Collins played so much. He's clearly the #2 guy or should be.

I don't think I've ever seen an offense under Pete actually run to the Los after the huddle. It was great

Agreed about Collins vs. Penny. Collins did everything last night, runs with authority, elusive, caught passes out of the backfield while Penny didn't do anything to show that he deserves a spot on the team let alone justify his #1 draft pick status.
