Cool week in the NFL. Here we're a couple of things I enjoyed;

Steelers - Before Super Bowl XL, I always liked the Steelers a lot. I always appreciated their ability to adapt and be progressive. Be it Kordell Stewart or Randel-El the Steelers toed the line between smash-mouth and trickery, well. Plus,. they ruin a crazy 3-4 with a priority on sending random LB's top the QB. It's just fun.

I'm starting to kind of like them again. I've always liked Tomlin...from his initial press conference I remember thinking "bastards just got another great coach for 10-15 years". Last night I enjoyed seeing Harrison have a resurgence, dude's just a football player. As much as I hate Haley, that offense may've finally bought in to what he's doing. And, Munchek is doing a whale of a job with that line...this offseason I thought Kubiak and Munchek we're the best staff hires heading into the season.

They're doing a lot with little in Pittsburgh.

Phinsies - We'll see if they can keep it up come December, but man alive we're they impressive yesterday. Tannehill thrives when Philbin stops obsessing and lets him run around a bit. That Dolphins team has been waiting to be very good for two years now, they've had the pieces, they've just choked it away.

Cowboys - They're about to unravel. All year long they've been on borrowed time with that defense, a QB with a bad back, and a brutal second half of the schedule. This week they play a Jags team which defensively is improving at an alarming rate and an offense that can now run the ball, well. The Cowboys may get upset this week in London. Jags are due to hit on all cylinders and the Cowboys are ripe to be upset, again.

Rams At least they closed the deal this time. They're not a football team, they're the annoying result of some 21yo's draft blog. If they would've lost yesterday, I would've started a charity to have them disbanded. Uggh they're hateble.

I hope the Rams beat Arizona this week. Their front seven vs. Arizona's offensive line should be a good matchup for them.

Supposedly good teams don't get blown away. Regardless of the circumstances. After Denver's horrible away loss yesterday, dare I say the Cardinals are the best team in the NFL?

Cool game Thursday; Browns v Bengals. Browns are a shell of themselves after losing (return of the) Mack, but, it's their shot to show they're real.

Brandon Weeden's face is even fatter than big Ben's face.

Not so much an enjoyed storyline, but I came away from the Cardinals/Cowboys game thinking they are legit contenders to win it all. They are playing aggressive, tough defense, they are bought into their head coach, and their offense is well balanced and has some solid skill players. T

They are still very beatable - provide heavy pressure on Palmer and he'll put the ball up for grabs - but they they are countering that really well with using Andre Ellington out of the backfield on delayed handoffs and RB screens ad Palmer is making big plays down field by avoiding sacks and buying time.

QB injuries: Romo missing the game and possibly out for a while with a back injury and now Foles hurt puts these contenders in unpredictable territory.

RG3 returning to the Redskins but beat out by rookie Teddy Bridgewater: It was good to see RG3 back on the field, but even better seeing Bridgewater make some plays to lead his team to victory.

I did too Recon, however, it is week 9. 7 weeks to go and as we all know, anything can and will happen. Hawks getting a bunch of players back very soon and the rookies are getting playing time. Quality depth is being created.

That's true Largent. Seahawks are building its strength up with lots of football left to play, but Arizona doesn't feel like a team that is bordering on a collapse like Dallas whose defense has been playing above its talent level. Bruce Arians has his team playing confident, fearless football.

I honestly didn't feel like the Cardinals were all that impressive against Dallas, and that game as a whole didn't really do anything to solidify their status as a dominant NFL team (IMO). I know Dallas has been running the ball well, but Arizona has been defending the run very well too. As a result of Weeden being the QB, Arizona was able to invest even more to stopping Murray. Weeden was and is horrible, removing any doubt for the people that suggested he should've finished week 8 instead of Romo. To me, Arizona was just fortunate to play them when Romo couldn't play than anything. They're a good, tough team, but nothing about them is really scary.

Cards are good, they have the luck of the draw also, teams have yet to find a true exploit to capitalize on, it will happen.
