We are retaining 90% of our core players. Not a single player we lost in Free Agency will make any difference in getting back to the dance. John Freaking Schneider is the best GM in the NFL. Period.

Mike Macdonald is a damn savant/genius. Sorry not sorry Rest of the league.

The 12s are back. Home field has been restored to its rightful place. No more opposing fans taking over 40% of the stadium.

LOB? How about the MOB? I never thought I would see another defense as good as the LOB in my lifetime let alone one that may be statistically better.

Enjoy this ride 12s. Looks like another few years of championship caliber ahead.

I love how John is 'walking the walk'... meaning... his keeping the band together is consistent with the season-ending message of how well the team performed as a collective of determination and focus.

Best part is while LOB relied on superior athletes, this defense relies on MM’s ability to maximize each individuals potential when operating as a cohesive unit. To the extent of even making use of those that clearly do not even fit… exhibit 1a is Woolen.

Is it just me or does this version of the defense seem more sustainable than Pete's?
I believe so and give my opinion of the reason why just above in my previous post. Pete relied on chip on shoulder superior athletes as individuals. Problem with that is the focus of the chip can shift as soon as that type of person feels wronged for any reason. Pete was done the second there were no consequences for bevel after the Super Bowl.

My only real concern is the DL guys are a lot of vets who had career years. It's hard for me to expect they'll be quite as dominant next year.

It's really getting up there funny, how the rest of the league is trying to mimic Hawks defense. I suspect McDonald's will look to have some new twists for this year he is smart enough to know teams adjust

They will win because every other team is playing catch-up. Seattle has the players, the coaches, and the culture. How this team plays together is what makes them special.

Teams playing Seattle focus on one thing (Darnold mostly) and when they find out how complete this team is, they lose and make excuses. Seattle plays to dominate all three phases of the game, and when they lose, they sack up and rally around each other.

There wasn't a more dominate team last year, and results will be the same again. Seattle had massive turn around going into the season, went to a Superbowl, and won. More experience, never hurt...and Seattle was supposed to be a year or two out from "competing". They're ahead of schedule and are in their prime with the window wide open. Good luck to the rest of the league trying to make ground, it isn't going to happen.

Love this topic. This season was great, and the offseason saw some very good players leave for boatloads of cash. But the core, the foundation here in Seattle is strong and ready to repeat. John only has 4 picks, but I’d expect him to wheel and deal to add at least one or two more during the draft.

Add a RB, CB and DE in this draft and get ready to roll. Offensively, another year with a stable and young offensive line will be huge. Sam and WRs will get to expand their connections. The future is bright.

No Debbie Downers!

The Dline projects to get even more dominate with the baby faced long armed assassin Rylie Mills.

The gunslinger Sam Darnold has a second year to pepper the Rams with lead.

The team hasn't lost any significant starters.
John needs to find that one superstar with only four draft picks or free agency. We don't need 12 5th round picks. One more star player and we are going in the right direction.

Unstoppable. Ruthless. Dominate....Die Nasty.

I love those homeruns in baseball, where it looks like the ball is still rising as it goes over the wall. That's how I saw this team at the end - still rising. Still getting better.
Maybe there's a little bit of a back step with new faces and getting the rhythm back, but im actually expecting an even better team next year.
