This thread is intentionally designed to attract reasons for next season's failure. If you're a happy go lucky fan, pi$$ off. We are the harbingers of doom:

1. We've lost K9 over $2-3M. Huge gamble.

I'm actually almost in agreement with you on this. I think running backs are underpaid compared to some other positions, but unless it's a basically irreplaceable rb, you gotta stick with salary guidelines for that position - JS has been fantastic about finding good running backs in the lower rounds, and I can assure you he'll do it again when K9 leaves. Also, it was the K9/Charbs combo that worked so perfectly - Charbonnet is injured, so the new combination is going to be different even if we sign K9.

But, getting back to answering your post: if Darnold gets injured.

Did you see how well our line run blocked in the second half of the season with Grey Zabel looking like the second coming of Hutch out there?

Relax, homie. If RB is our biggest concern, we are sitting pretty.
Huge draft pick in every way.

Kenny McIntosh breakout season anyone?

I also fully expect us to draft another highlight quality RB, and keep an eye on Allgeier as a FA

The O-line deserves credit for our rbs getting hit in backfield less often than most teams.

I think we'll be fine, just make sure no fumbles which Ken and Zach were great at.

We're not going to suck next year from losing any of our remaining FA, especially from the offensive side.

Drake Thomas at $4m per is better than Shaheed or Walker at $12m.

I'm sure I'll have something to complain about by the time our cap space has been used up, but no complaints about any of our signings or non-signings so far.

I don't see how anyone could think we'll suck next year. K9 or not.

We will suck next year because, WE WON’t!

This is yet another defeatist stupid waste of bandwidth thread.

Some here need to realize the Seahawks have a good team even with the “potential” departure of a few players in FA.

Let’s get real.
