Is that right? I was listening to espn radio this morning and caught the back end of a segment. I think they said it was the Monday night game where Holmgren returned there as the last time we've won there.

Wow. Do we break the 18 year itch this year? I like our team. But damn it if Rodgers isn't good.. and at home!

To be fair, we likely would've easily won in 2005 if we weren't resting starters. That was a rare bad Packers team.

I didn't think we could win in NE last year so there is a chance. We have a very, very good team.

Seems like we're due for a win there. The team has the talent to do it, so................. :irishdrinkers:

Is this something you think motivates this team or does it give them a sense of imminent doom?

The same reason many teams didn't win in Century Link from 02-14. Home field advantage and a team really protects their house!

Yep, I work with a GB fan (from the area) and we always talk about how the home team pretty much wins that game.
Hope we change that on Sunday.

GB is hard to beat at home, just like us.

But if there's a good time to come out of the frozen tundra with a win, it's in September when the tundra isn't frozen and we're at full strength.

I like our chances, we have the veteran team, on the other hand GB has a LOT of new faces, especially on defense, and ESPECIALLY in the defensive backfield. Lots of opportunity to take advantage of their rookie DB's while they're still wet behind the ears.

BTW, I just looked up the Packers record in Seattle and it looks like they've only won 2 out of 7.

If they're scared or need motivation they probably wouldn't be here.

I agree with you. I personally don't think that's the case with this team, I think they fully expect to win Sunday but it sounds like some fans fall more on the latter side of things. If you think the team expects to win then shouldn't we also expect them to win? Sorry I guess I'm getting kind of philosophical and maybe it's more of a rhetorical question. I'm looking forward to a big win Sunday on our march back to the promised land! :irishdrinkers:
