Back to reality.

The focus needs to start right now with this Washington team first.

Now, this front four just might be the best front four Seattle will play the rest of 2020.

Chase Young is a freak and WILL get to Russell Wilson.

That’s pretty much a guarantee.

Chase Young has HoF talent, already.

The rest of their defensive line will also be a nightmare for Wilson.

If you want to see how Wilson can/will perform in January, the game against Washington will be a good preview.

This Washington game can be lost if Carroll does not put in adjustments to slow down their front four and occasionally blitzing linebackers.

This game against Washington will be rough. Believe it!

Going to find out real quick if Russ has fixed things. I didn't even watch yesterdays game. No interest in what Seattle did against a team that has no drive to win. Luckily for us it looks like Smith will be out or hobbled. Otherwise we get cooked in this game.

Didn't even bother watching? Why the heck not!!!! Maybe if you did, it would brighten your mood a little.

Seattle has seen defenses like this before. Last years niners, Aaron Donald lead Rams teams. We'll be ready.

Good news is Russ got his crappy game out of the way, so he'll perform. And the D should feast on Dwayne Haskins or Alex Smith....

Should be a hell of a game on Sunday. And likely to come down the wire. Two good teams battling, love it.
I like our chances, just like I'm sure the WFT fans like their chances.
Bring it on, this feels like a playoff game, or at least a preview of it.

The beauty of these final 3 games is that they are all tough defenses which is what we want to prime us for January. I would hate it if these final games were against powderpuff cupcake defenses. We may take another loss or two on our way to the playoffs but ultimately this is good for us.

Since the Hawks are not likely to have Home Field Advantage( HFA ) during the final games toward the Super Bowl, this game in Washington DC may well determine the team's ability to play together in concert. Mental toughness is the major factor for this team to advance in the Playoffs.

Good point. Some really good measuring sticks these next few games. And yes, I'm counting the Niners game as well. They will play us tough, just like WA and the Clams.

I think if they basically repeat the offensive gameplan we used against the Jets, we'll come out on top. I expect we'll connect with a couple of deep shots, too. We just have remember that those should not be the primary game plan. It's gonna take some grinding. But if we can continue with the running game working, we'll get our chances.

We won't need 40 to beat Wash, 20-24 should be enough if the defense comes to play like they did against NY.

Weather and Field conditions, it's a lot slower turf there, every time we play there it looks like chunks come up, guys cleats are packed with clay and or dirt and slipping all over. Anyone know the forecast, I have not looked directly at DC, but read there is a Winter Storm front pushing in.

Good question, fingers crossed. I'm as worried about that crap field as I am that D Line.
It has injured so many players over the years.
Currently it says 43 for game day. That would be huge for this time of year.

Which game is that? Quite a few to choose from this year.

Again I agree with Sutz only I think a big factor will be Alex Smith's health...I don't care what anybody says Alex Smith is a good vet QB...not to be looked past...

The 2 biggest factors will be who wins the turnover battle and who runs the ball... if Seattle can run the ball they very well win this game...

I think Pete is going to dial this one in... Hopefully Dunlap is back that's going to be a big factor...I look forward to a gritty defensive battle...

1 win and the hawks are in as a wildcard at the very least. As other than the cards, rams, bucs all the other teams have more than 6 loses. So one more win and a wildcard assured.

I really think they'll be focused the rest of the season. I know a lot of people think we'll lose to the Rams but I just don't see it. That's going to be the game where everybody's going we have a legit chance of going to the SB.

What the hell is everybody so scared of? Seahawks win out. Screw just making the playoffs. It's not worth it if you cant beat the good teams. You guys wanna sneak in the playoffs and hope to win? No thanks. 3-0 next 3.

This would be a wildcard matchup based on current seeding - I bet it'll feel like a playoff game too. Biggest test here for Seattle's improved D - this isn't an offense you should allow to score more than 20 points.

I think Seattle will win something like 24-17

Looks like WFT is going with Smith.
