Just found this, back in '12, Denver brought Wilson in for a pre-draft visit, and this is what a couple Donkey fans had to say about him.

Russell may be a good backup, but I can’t see him as a franchise qb, I think it would be a waste of a pick any higher than the 5th.

This is such a great what if scenario, as it could easily have happened. Imagine Elway had a clue and swapped Wilson for Osweiller. By the time Manning walked away, Wilson would’ve been soaking so much knowledge from Manning. Woulda been ugly for the AFC West. Though interesting with Mahomes, Rivers, and Wilson. Elway threw an INT with that pick.

In a side note, I find it funny that Andy Reid finally got his Wilson when Mahomes came on the scene. Guessing some of what your seeing in KC is what Reid might’ve imagined when planning on drafting Wilson right behind the Hawks.
