Question to anybody that has frequented Vegas. I will be flying out tomorrow morning and will be in Vegas for the Cardinals game. I plan on watching the game at one of the casino sportsbooks. Any suggestions on which is the best to watch the game and place some wagers? Thanks.

Depends on what you are into if you wish to be in an old style sports book or a sports bar or combo.

The Seahawks are not the team of choice for a lot of fans in Vegas and there is at least one good Seahawks sports bar in Vegas.

The Las Vegas Hilton is one of the premier sports books. Its also enormous with a ton of massive TV's. There is also actually a Hawk bar down there. I would imagine it would be a nicer experience meeting other 12s. I think its called Scooters.

Scooter's Pub is a fantastic place to watch the game.

But it's location frankly sucks. It is remote and there are no casinos/sports books nearby.

Depending on what you want, I would consider the Hilton (now called the LVH). Tropicana, Caesar's, Bellagio or the Long bar at the D(formerly the Fitzgerald)

A buddy of mine that used to live down there mentioned Scooters as a good place to go. The only trouble is from where I'm staying at the MGM he guessed it'd be about a $30 cab ride both ways and I'd much rather spend that money on drinks/wagers. Plus, I've never watched a Hawks game at one of the big sportsbooks down there and am kind of looking forward to the experience.

If you are staying at the MGM walk across the bridge to the Tropicana. Check out the 3 big screens in there. It isn't a popular sports book, so it won't have the fun and frenzy of Caesars or The Hilton (LVH)

LVH also does live In-Game wagering more so than any other sportsbook.

I think I would suggest going there.

Wherever you watch the game. Be certain to hook up with Largent80's bookie.

IMO Vegas Sportsbooks are a boring place to watch football, and sports in general. All the TV's are small, no sound and it's pretty much just grumpy gambleholics pacing around mumbling to themselves about the money they just lost on race #12 at the track.

Now there are quite a few really cool sports bars in Vegas to watch the games.

Twin Peaks is right on the strip right by Planet Hollywood. Great food and booze (and wait staff).

Lagasse's Stadium inside the Palazzo is really cool, and also has good food and drinks.

The Heraea inside the Palms I hear is really cool. I haven't been there, but my buddy has and he loved it. A little more low key than these other sports bars, so if you just want a cool place to chill and watch without all the craziness, this is a good place.

My vote is for Bellagio Sports book - love the leather lazy-boy chairs and eye-candy waitresses

We like to tailgate at the NY NY Dualing Piano Bar then jog over to the Excalibur Sports Book for games because I like it fairly quiet.
All your favorite pre game tunes on piano gets insane if you have a good group of people.

I'll definitely go to Scooters next though.

I second Scooter's! It's the hawks bar in Vegas and is packed with hawks brothers and sisters! Total high energy joint. If you want a seat be there an hour early, otherwise its standing room only! You'll feel like you are watching the game in Seattle.

For actually watching games I like Blondie's, a sports bar/restaurant in the Miracle Mile shops adjacent to Planet Hollywood casino. You can wager at PH and then walk over the Blondie's, which actually has really good wings and beer choices. (Just got back from my 14th annual Vegas trip & had a blast there.)

If you hang in a sportsbook - don't forget to ask for your free drink tickets for wagering...

So I decided to go with Caesars Palace for the game and had a great time. They are very liberal with their free drink tickets. Based on reactions of the couple hundred people around me I bet that 80 percent of the money was on the Hawks.

Plus, the guy I sat next to was hammered (like had trouble reaching out to pick up his drink hammered) and had $2500 rolling on Miami -9 over North Carolina. It was almost as fun to watch as the Hawks game towards the end of the day.

Thanks for the suggestions everybody. Go Hawks.
