For all of you that were kind enough to make kind comments I wanted to let you know that we have gone from brain surgery a week ago today to now being released from the hospital and moved to a rehad facility well thought of in the medical world for perhaps a two weeks stay

AND

a day out to spend Thanksgiving with our best friends and family for dinner.

She is alert, seems to have most if not all of her memory. Will get heavy duty rehab with balance, hand/eye coordination, speech, and more. Getting this far this fast is really rare, just ask Chris98251 he is our resident expert on the subject.

Again thanks a lot for your prior kind comments, they will always be remembered.

Most if not all of her memory is great, grats Radish.

Hell, I wish I had most if not all of my memory.

Awesome news Les. Tell her all of us .netters are thinking about her and hoping for a fast recovery. A lot of speed of recovery on brain trauma is the will and drive of the patient. My father had a stroke in past December and the doctors pretty much said he had a miracle recovery on the speed of recovery from stroke to walking and getting back to normal life. My mom was preparing to have to walker assessable the house, little after 2 months he was able to walk without a cane and actually run. Like I said will, drive, AND the stubbornness to work hard in PT to get your normal life back is everything!
