The guy seems to be too worried about Bible-thumping and conspiracy theories. I hardly see him post any updates on football related stuff.

That would be the Boz.

Yeah, but did your contrary streak make you support Kelly Jennings? Now, that would be against the grain. Like PeHawk.kearly":3vahzc5s said:Sarlacc83":3vahzc5s said:I hate Jerramy Stevens more.
I loved Stevens when he was a Seahawk. Had a ton of "man crush" inducing big plays, especially in the red zone. He's a terrible person though, might be the worst person that has ever played for the Seahawks.
I generally like to go against the grain when it comes to "cool to hate" and "cool to like" things. I thought both Djack and Stevens caught more shit than they deserved at times, and it made me want to stand up for them.

From an outsiders perspective you don't seem to have too many holes to fill so I imagine you guys will be using some of your lower picks to trade up and possibly beef up your offensive line and pass rush, or possibly as trade bait for a FA.
We're being told to expect two more 7th rounders as comp picks.
Not sure how draft picks can be trade bait for a FA... explain yourself.

Curry a far bigger bust than Boz?!? Are you feeling OK today? Now I love your stuff Kearly and respect the heck out of you ... but I honestly think you need to check your temperature because that's nothing short of Pure D Crazy Talk.
kearly":u8jis8bs said:Bozworth got bounced because of injuries. Curry was a terrible player that got bounced because he had shit for brains with a terrible attitude. Bozworth was more legendary overhype than lousy, and given the way we acquired him, you can't really claim that taking him was a mistake since it was a take it or leave it situation (supplemental draft). Wasting #4 pick > wasting the #21 pick.
kearly":u8jis8bs said:Also, the shit Bozworth pulled was awesome entertainment value. I bet the newspapers and ESPN loved him. Only in the 80s.
Agree with Kearly 100%. Seattle got NO love from the media back then, landing the Boz actually gave us some primetime Sunday Night NFL love...I think it also made it possible for the Hawks Broncos game where Largent lit up Harden for the entire country to see...kearly":1gxl0daj said:Hawkscanner":1gxl0daj said:kearly":1gxl0daj said:The next time NFL network compiles a top 10 draft bust list, Curry needs to be on it. They got 13 games out of him over 2 years before they released him.

In the magical world of what if... if Sanchez was the pick.... Mora would have gotten the benefit of a couple more years... so no Carroll... no schneider..... no wilson..... no sherman or browner.... no clemons..... etc etc.
we would be nowhere close to where we are now.....
Honestly, look at the 1st round of the 2009 draft..... maybe the worst first round i have ever seen.... at least we got a couple picks for our bust... whereas most teams are still stuck with theirs.

The Boz is in no way the biggest Seahawk bust. Dan Maguire, Curry, perhaps even Lamar King (pretty sure he was a 1st rounder by Holmgren) were bigger busts than Boz, who, again, had a really nice rookie campaign.
