uniform question

Is it true that we can only wear our wolf grey jerseys twice during the regular season? If so, could we wear them
during the preseason without it counting towards the two times?

I really wish they would wear a pre 2000 era throwback when we play the AFC west next..

Yes, that is correct. You can only wear your third jersey twice in a season.

According to my buddy that works with the Hawks we will not be wearing the Retro uniforms this season. You have to apply to the NFL to wear a retro uniform the year before and we did not do so last season. He says that we may apply this season to wear them once in 2014, but that Paul Allen has been really resistent to allow that to happen.

I'd like to see the grey pants with blue jerseys for a home game this year.

This is the first time, ever, that I have really LOVED the Seahawks uniforms. Every set in the past I was just kinda like, "Meh.. They're cool I guess."

So Mr Allen is quite possibly the one holding retro uniforms back? I figure that is as good a theory as any but although the Seahawks first 25 or
so seasons weren't the most successful when you look at the win/loss column or playoff games were few and far between ( let alone winning them), it is still a big part of our lives and some pretty dang good memories. I remember watching our underdog Hawks in Miami in the playoffs with my Dad and the pure joy of the victory. Come on, all of us on here have thousands of great stories of watching our beloved Hawks taking the field in the old silver and blue. I was 8 the first time I saw that classic helmet and was blown away with how cool it looked.

I was hooked.

I really like the new unis and all the combinations but I think whomever is possibly stopping the throwbacks should reconsider.
