Or it could be that as one of our fastest players, Lockett is often sent on go type routes to take the top off the defense and back the corners/safeties off the LOS. We can't run the ball as it is, so the last thing we need is the defense crowding the box.
Also, is that the type of garbage PFF puts out? All it has is passer rating by alignment. Nothing about frequency/sample size/number of times he lined up at each spot. Without the information this is pretty much useless.
I'm not defending Bevell, I just think that statistic is extremely misleading and lazy on PFF's part.
