If Trey Lance would be in this year's draft, will he be top 5? Will he be ranked higher than Richardson or Levis?

Tier 1: Young/Stroud

Tier 2: Richardson/Lance/Levis

Richardson has better tools than Lance. Is the superior athlete. Faced better competition. So he's a better prospect than Lance was coming out. But the gap between the two probably isn't that wide. Both basically started for just one year. Very raw.

Lance would likely be picked after Richardson. Some team would take him fairly high- Top 10. Just based off the potential.

Using Pete Carroll's approach, if both Lance and Lock would to be this year's draft. We will have top 6, into three tiers? The two with experience Young and Stroud, and three projects, Levis, Richardson and Lance. Where do Lock fit in?

Lock is very similar to Levis in a lot of ways imo. Big arm. Will make questionable decisions. Both are careless with the ball at times. Turnovers are an issue.

Levis' delivery & mechanics are a little more compact. He can get more velocity on his throws. He's also a little too robotic. Which I think is actually a hindrance.

Why would the 49ers do that

You don’t give up an a player that you invested so much into just because he got hurt.

Lance was their starter when he got hurt. Most likely have a good opportunity to regain that position this season

I would for a 3rd
jfc the league frickin gives out 3rd round comp picks for helping up the job ladder for your blind Korean DL coach to that next HC position, or whatever other ethic groups you get those picks for.
not sure how it works, it probably should work around true ethnic representation.
So if you hire an Aboriginal HC, it’s a first round comp pick.
Are you insane? Lance doesn’t even have the wherewithal to play the quarterback position at this level and can’t keep his head in the game. Can’t throw for sh!t and has the worst pocket poise and completion percentage dating back like 4 decades bruh lmao 🤣 runs a 4.96 that’s barely faster than Tom Brady lol

At the end of the day the 49ers want to rid themselves of their poor mistake but the only teams willing to trade for him are the DC Defenders and the Brahmas

How about Trey Lance for 3# of round steak? I'd totally see that as doable. Round steak is OK but kinda tough anyway. Will make room for them to mortgage the future trading for Erin Rogers.

Beef is pricey these days; just sayin'...
