You know I'm busting your chops; we do that to each other. You actually think Sanders is a great QB, not much else needs to be said about your judgement. Dude is mid, nothing more.
Lock has even less value than Milroe. We were able to sign him as the 52nd highest-paid QB in the league last year, and he was available two months after free agency began. I can't imagine him netting anything in the early offseason. His only potential value is maybe a late-round pick swap if a team gets desperate after some injuries, and at that point, he has more value to us anyway. You know, I just now decided to look it up and didn’t realize that we have Lock locked up next year too. For some reason I thought he was on a one year deal.
Someone should make a poll on if we should trade Lock lol. I’d rather keep Lock over Milroe though….
I would keep Lock. He has a decent amount of starting experience and fits the Darnold-style offense. Finding another decent drop-back passer could be difficult - most are older and not really back-ups.You know, I just now decided to look it up and didn’t realize that we have Lock locked up next year too. Needed an Option that is more in the middle. Not just Yes or Absolutely Not. I liked the Milroe pick. His poor outings are a very very very small sample size and when he is in it is a red flag to the other team to watch for him. Just depends the long term plan at the QB1 QB2 and QB3 positions.
I thought "not really" was the "more in the middle" option but I guess a "I'm not sure" option would've also helped.I put “not really” but you’re right I should’ve gave another option. Sorry guys
I thought we drafted Milroe to keep the opposing defense on their toes, enabling Darnold to be more effective;i.e-I thought he would see a decent amount of playing time. We haven't used him at all, so I can't guess what our plans are for him.
Yeah, you're right - I completely misread the Seahawks intent. At the time he was drafted I was surprised and very happy, but yeah, now he's of no use. We could probably trade him for Shadeur, improve the Browns and sell a sh*tload of Shadeur jerseys.I don't think that's quite it, imo.
I think Milroe was a "Hedge your bets" pick for JS in case Sam Darnold proved his detractors RIGHT and crashed n' burned here.
Once he showed the complete opposite of that, Milroe became an "extra" on this team taking up a roster spot.
I don't think you "hedge your bets" with a late third-round project that you couldn't have reasonably expected to win with.I don't think that's quite it, imo.

TLDR : Milroe was Insurance in case Darnold bombed. Now he's just....there.
I applaud you for turning it on. I wish more poll creators would switch it on. It's a deterrent against trolling and multiple account abuse. After all, you wouldn't want a Rams fan anonymously voting for an option 3 times would you?Yes, it allowed an option to show who voted for which option, so I selected that option. Would you rather I turn that off?
I mostly did it so I can keep tabs on who doesn’t like SeahawkSteve80I applaud you for turning it on. I wish more poll creators would switch it on. I would also recommend having a closing date so people don't vote years into the future.
Yeah. F**k those guys.I mostly did it so I can keep tabs on who doesn’t like SeahawkSteve80

I need to find a 'I am joking' icon to attach to the end of my postsShadeur doesn't strike me as someone who would mesh with MacDonald's culture as it is in that locker room.
Can you imagine the absolute circus that would ensue if Shadeur and his entourage (with a video camera) was here? I'm sure his old man (Deion) would be pushing for his kid to have Darnold's job from day one.
MEHdeur!?!?! - How about 'The Colonel'.If you want a crappy QB and to lose a bunch of games, go get MEHdeur Sanders.
Ultimately you need your backup qb to win a game or 2 when the starter gets hurt. Lock beat the Eagles filling in and won some games as a starter so we know he is capable. Im not sure Milroe is yet, he seemed to struggle last preseason against 3rd and 4th stringers. You know, I just now decided to look it up and didn’t realize that we have Lock locked up next year too. For some reason I thought he was on a one year deal.

I got sidetracked halfway through typing. Thanks for pointing it out.Yeah I thought you meant that.
Got a bit confused there. lol
