I don’t know how much value canzone has. I like him. But I’m a homer. I actually noticed him when he was a diamondback. We played them and he stood out to me cause of his squaty stance. I thought he looked like a strong aggressive kid. Then two days later we traded Paul sewald to them for the chef, Ryan bliss, and Josh Rojas. I guess not a bad trade when you look back on it now, but when it happened it was a little rough, not quite as bad as Kendal graveman felt but same ballpark
Ya I don't think he has a lot of value in the league, but it only takes one Dipoto GM to get what we need. There has to be another Dipoto GM out there, right? Right?

Has Solano been "hot" outside of Wrigley Field? Better question, can he continue to be productive in other parks for the remainder of the season? An unknown for now, but for playoff aspirations, it sure would help.

Edit: Just came across yesterday's Mariners PR tweet:

Donovan Solano has recorded three consecutive 3+ hit games and over his last 14 games since May 24 is batting .450 (18-for-40) with 3 home runs, 12 RBI, and a 1.200 OPS.

Guess that answers my first question! Imagine him and Garver staying hot the rest of the season. But... it's the Ms, right?

Damn. Suarez is one of the good guys in the league.
I really didn't want him back a few years from Cinci, but fell in love with him as a Mariner. A typical gut punch trade by Dipoto to the fanbase and team. K's be damned.
