Guard or pass rusher. Maybe a big WR

Right guard. Their run blocking has not been good overall this year. If you are going to make a deep run, you need to run block and pound the ball.

PS – they need another receiver

Yeah get a guard if you can. Even reach out to Vegas and see if Crosby is available. Just send some feelers…

Honestly we could use quite a bit of help. Passrusher, Center or guard, Wide receiver, Yes I've been saying it for the last couple years, LBer

Seattle has fielded poor OLs for a decade. It'd be great to be better there, but we know there are ways to mitigate. LB is also an area where other positions can somewhat cover. Man coverage deep on both sides being a high percentage play for opposing offenses is an Achilles heel with no answer. If injuries return, maybe it's less important. However, in the meantime, it's the target for every 3rd down, every series, every game.... If JS stands pat, I have to believe he sees a quick return of starters and 1st backups.

OL would be nice but feels unlikely. There are a couple of good pass rush targets in Crosby and Hendrickson that could really help elevate the defense. Of course any CB might help with all the injuries and especially if Woolen is on the trading block.

Edge, DB, OG...In that order. but, I highly doubt John makes a move this year.. I would love an Edge rusher that can constantly get to the QB because Lawrence and Nwosu can't be our leading edges all year given their age & injury history's.... I still can't believe 6 games in and Mafe has 0 sacks...

Inside LB it is pretty worrisome that Tyrice Knight has had his snaps significantly reduced and is being replaced by Drake Thomas who I'm not really sure how I feel about yet

-- If Drake Thomas is one of our starting off ball LBs in our base defense, we are screwed. I think he plays more like an oversized safety. That is why his snaps have likely gone up while half our secondary is out injured. If the secondary is ever fully healthy, I think Knight will be back on the field more.

-- By the way, I know I have said this since 4 months before the draft, (as have others) but Nick He-ManWarrior is going to be a force. Needs more on field time, but plays will be made.

Inside Linebacker. Knight has been such a major disappointment this season

Why do people suddenly think our OL is okay and we don't need a trade upgrade when we're 24th in rushing yards per game and 27th in rushing yards per attempt?

I think our running scheme is bad. I don't like rotating backs as I believe it's a rhythm thing and it's hard to get that if your taken out. Let the hot back play.

It's not all scheme, though. You can't blame it all on that. We're just not getting enough forward push from the OL, not getting many holes opened up for our backs. The addition of one nasty vet on the OL could provide more of that. How many times have we seen our backs have nowhere to go after a handoff?

PS> When we were playing the Jags, we had two quick three-and-outs where our runners got nothing nearing the end of the game. It almost made too interesting of a game after dominating them most of the way.
