I think the plan is utilize AJ Barner and Arroyo more.

Seattle has two young tight ends that should continually improve and can help shoulder the load of catching passes.
I am really hoping that Arroyo turns it on. Been waiting for him to break out. I will have to make an effort to keep an eye on him in the game and see if he just isn't getting open or what the deal is.

I think we only get Cesar Ruiz from NO. He played under Benton and Kubiak last year, had his best season and Benton especially has raved about him. He's only 26 too.

I don't think we need another WR. There's not enough volume for it. Just get Kupp, Horton, Arroyo, Barner and the RB's involved a little more. I don't think Darnold is targeting JSN. I just think he is mostly his 1st read and he's been that good that he's been open most of the time.
I don't get why we don't use screen and those little RB delayed releases that always seem to kill us. Get the ball into K9's hands with a little open space and anything can happen.

With the trade deadline coming up does it make sense to try and get a #2 WR in here so that we aren't so reliant on JSN? There are a number of good options out there that could really help out the offense. Olave, Ridley, Myers, etc...
With Kupp breaking down this isn't unreasonable as an option, I'm sure the Kupp lovers will come in now..3...2...1... "He's made JSN who he is this season his value isn't stat related"... 🥱🥱... I'm all for an upgrade over an overpaid over the hill WR (Yes, I said that)... I hope Horton can develop, but that might be next year at best.... Our biggest needs are RG, WR, C, CB, LB... getting one or two of these improvements will make us contenders...

You honestly think Mike's & Klint's big plan was to make this offense a one WR reliant offense?... They are trying to get the other players involved, but they are not winning, and JSN isn't the #1 read on every snap... Kupp isn’t a great player anymore and an upgrade is needed at that spot.

Kupp might be getting a bit long in the tooth but he is still very damn good..!!

Just an FYI JSN is the number 1 WR in the NFL right now. #16 (Best of any WR) in chances to get NFL MVP, with Darnie #12.

What is the trade value of a #1 NFL WR?
(2) firsts and (2) 2nds? Thats probably to much.

Every team wants the best WR, so it would be dumb to trade him on a Rookie contract, but that trade value must be sky high.

I just have to say the posts from some fans talking about trading JSN produced such a robust laugh that it woke my fiancée. Well played.

He had I think three catches against the Texans (one of those catches he was a yard away from his first TD).

Unfortunately on his third catch, he fumbled the ball and wasn't targeted anymore.

Hell I don't recall Barner targeted once against Houston either.

I don't believe they should trade JSN. There is a valid argument to be made regarding his value. Right now he does have a very high value as he is an elite (top 5) reciever. When the Seahawks won SB48, they didn't have an elite WR on the team. They did have very good to solid receivers.

I'd like to see them improve the OL somehow. They are strong on the DL edge - they have some tradeable pieces there if they choose to do so. I believe they need an upgrade at center and right guard. If they can't find a RG then look for RT and can slide Lucas inside to RG. If they can upgrade that and the running game. It makes the weapons they do have on the team that much more dangerous.
Woahhhhh Nelly. This is the first post that popped up on this thread upon opening it.

JSN ain't going nowhere. No way, no how. You don't trade your best player (unless you're the Cowpokes). Talk about a way to damage the psyche of the team.
