Not a huge fan of jumping on the trade deadline this year. I think they're pretty well set and I really want to see some of the projected trade bait guys develop here and not somewhere else. Plus, we have a number of fringe guys who might just be starters in a couple of years when the aging vets retire.

I would wait until next year to start feeling like we're on the cusp of winning it all. I generally like the team now and am interested to see what one more draft would do for us. I'm still in long term mode, not short term yet.

Cam Taylor Britt and Logan Wilson are both talented players that have recently been bench is Cincy. I don't know if Wilson would be a fit but both would be worth a look for a later round pick.

I think we need health not a player that will cost you the moon as teams smell desperation and want more than they are worth.

Cincinatti is famous for not trading unless you give up the moon for the player.

It isn’t good business to trade away draft picks when our D line is top 3 DVOA collectively. Our interior D line is the best in football and number one against the run so they are setting an edge. Sack numbers can become a convoluted stat line

A writer for sports illustrated suggested the Hawks trade for Joel Bitonio. Even suggested the Hawks include Riq Woolen in the deal.

If the Hawks can swing a deal for Bitinio that includes Woolen I'd support it as long as we don't give up much draft capital.

I rarely support buying at the deadline in any sport, but I supported the Ms getting Suarez and Naylor because they didn't give up any major prospects somehow. I'd support the Hawks strengthening their OL while getting something for Woolen.

Just imagine how good we would be with an improved run game and a little better protection for Darnold.
