The Rams have done a good job of protecting Stafford all year. Plus, he gets rid of the ball quickly. He used to average around 40-45 sacks per year, and this year, he was only sacked 23 times. Since he's been with the Rams, the most he's been sacked is 30. Given that Stafford is 37 years old, and not that elusive, that's impressive.

This year, the Seahawks have sacked him 0 (zero) times this year. Macdonald's going to have to find a way to put some pressure on the guy.

Their OL is a top 10 unit:

1769351864651

Some false starts will help put them behind schedule.

Even though it was his rookie year, throwing with a dislocated shoulder is damn tough. As I said, he's not this young, but he's also not a wallflower.

Chicago got some pretty good hits on him, and he played poorly. If Chicago can do it, the hawks definitely should be able to.
MM did send some 5-man blitzes in our previous two meetings. These didn't get home because they were easily picked up every single time. Will see what adjustments are made this time.

Flashback to all the manning hype in the Super Bowl. You can have a game plan until someone punches you in the face.

But Stafford has earned his reputation. He's got a Lombardi and he's made some absolutely wild plays through injury during his career. It's not like the media is making this up.

Several guys on our defense had their worst game of the season against Stafford in Week 16, probably partially due to the short week (which hurt the Rams' D just as much). They'll inevitably be playing better this time, but so will our D. I have to think this looks more like Week 11.

Can respect Stafford. Nothing wrong with giving props when they’re due.

With that said, a good offense can win games. A good defense wins championships.

I expect their O-line to struggle with the noise today. Stafford’s definitely getting hands out on him today.

I also expect our D to be absolutely smothering today.

After all the punches the D took all game long, to pull off those stops on 3rd and 4th down took some serious huevos. Have to admit I was rather speechless
