It's not even close. Hill? Williams? Please. McDaniel barring injury will be starting week 1.

He is so important for this team's future. Completely changes the outlook of the dline with him healthy and out there. Plus it allows the Hawks to use Hill and the rest as dynamic role players.

I'm surprised he never got moved to LT or RT in college. 6'7" 300+ and he moves very well. It seems like he might have been a beast at offensive tackle, but I'm glad he's on our defensive line.

Like Irvin, he had a tackle for a loss that wasn't just a play but a PLAY! Monster of a man.

I liked what I saw tonight. The only issue was that he did get pushed back when combo blocked and they ran straight at him.

But if you're moving at a slant, if the play is against him, or he gets 1 on 1 in the pass game, he's a monster.

Mcadaniel looks way better than anyone he is "competing" against.

Hill and McDaniel both look good. One is obviously more experienced than the other.

I was pleased with the team as a whole except for the penalties. The team was constantly in a hole on offense or couldn't get off the field on defense because of penalties.
The team has to become much more disciplined. Further, the preseason is always a theatre for reinforcing subjective calls such as roughing or defenseless. Such calls should loosen up a bit in the regular season.
