All the writings on paper say this next game should be a big win going away even with our current issues, thankfully we are a work in process and things overall look better week to week, this staff works the issues pretty hard. Nice to see DK give JSN big props post game also, he is a leader now.

To finish my initial thought, I hate seeing backups and unknowns stepping in at QB, where we don't always lose they seem to from inception given us fits.

A Tua-less Dolphins squad coming to town next week is a sure victory barring any crazy, ridiculous occurrences in the game that go their way.

Not trying to dismiss an NFL team but if we can’t capitalize here, then we aren’t quite as good as I think we are already. Home crowd, shouldn’t be a ton of Fins Fans.

3-0.

LFG!!!!!!
I'm not booking anything. They'll sign someone like tannehill who will probably give us fits. Those sorts of teams usually get a backup QB bounce for a few games

I went into the season less optimistic than many here. I had us going 2-0 then losing these next 2. With Tua out I really believe we can win this but I don’t think it’ll be a cakewalk.

While I applaud the enthusiasm -

Without K9 our ground game was a hot mess.

Last week we had the D shouldering the game. This week the other way around.

We have Geno looking like he was running a clinic with some of his passing today - and last week not so much.

I'm not sure we really have an identity yet...... I get it, they are headless at the moment - but I'm not booking anything at this point. We look too uneven.

And some of MM decisions/playcalling is just a little 'odd' to say the least. Going for it yesterday instead of taking the points could really have cost us the game. And the timeout 'bizarre' decisions were just, well 'bizarre'. Growing pains, I get it.

Go hawks, but let's stick to our knitting. Lots of stuff to fix. 21 and his temper being one of them.

Just be thankful we're not the rams!!!!

There were def. some 1-3 predictions out there for the first 4 game stretch. This is fun. And there is a ton of work to be done.

Thinking about it further, you're totally correct, unfortunately. We got our teef kicked down our throat on the ground today.
Agreed. Anyone remember the ass-kicking Carolina gave us in a Dec. 2022 game many of us thought was a guaranteed win?
They ran the ball down our D's throats, all game long. Of course, that was against a Pete Carroll/Clint Hurtt defense, not a MikeMac defense.
Below is a link with a summary, the 5-8 Panthers ran for 233 yards in by outslugging the Seahawks at Lumen Field.

Don't know if Dolphins have a smash-mouth run game in them, but the best thing Hawks can do is get up by a couple scores and put the Phins into a passing mode.

There is a good chance Mostert makes it back for the game. Achane has looked good in his absence. Hopefully we can shut them down on the ground.

Many talked about how the Pats could have been a “trap” game. I dint see it. Now we are 2-0 and we are playing at home against a QB starved team I feel this has the potential to be more of a trap game. Early success with a bunch of young players and coaches just screams “trap” game to me.

If Geno can get us to 4-0 or 5-0 after the Giants, let's hope he stays healthy. If he gets banged up, I'm curious if Howell can get the job done for a game or three. Will be interesting to see how the season progresses to be sure.
