Flame threads, repetitive topics, threads drifting off topics, anything in between, many will get merged also. Many times people don't bother to read the page to see if a topic is already there or race to get first post on news andyou get multiples.

Who locks threads and what is the criteria for doing so?

Was the WT III thread locked 'cause it was going in circles or did someone cross a line? If so, what was the line so I'll not to go there ...
