...that didn't go our way.

Mysteriously were absent this game.
The refs, for the most part, let the game be played the way it's supposed to be played.

A few calls that could have gone against us, weren't called. It seemed a bit odd at times. Does this mean we're now a part of the inner elite? Was it an inside outside, upside-down conspiracy?

Whatever it was, I'll take it.

I agree. There were some calls that were questionable and some non calls that I agreed with. I was happy that I didn’t see a referee interfere with the outcome

I'm curious what other people felt about the officiating, so I thought I'd start a thread about it.

I thought that they did a superb job, that for the most part, that they kept the flags in their pockets and let the players play. There was a number of no-calls on both sides, particularly as it had to do with pass interference, that I've seen called before that they let slide. There were a couple of potential penalties, one that comes to mind being a missed grabbling the face mask that we committed but that the ref was not in a good position to see, but that's always going to happen no matter how good the officiating crew is.

Officiating is perhaps the easiest thing to complain about because there are so many judgment calls, and all of us are experts that could do the job a lot better than those bums.

Thoughts?

Fingers crossed we get similar officiating in 2 weeks.

The drama of the Seahawks exorcising their SB horror in a rematch against their SB nemesis with a QB who has the chance to vanquish his ghosts...

Those narratives are far more compelling IMO than the Vrabel / Maye story.

The only thing that MAY happen is the refs call some ticky tack calls to keep the game close when we start to blow them out.

But that will only make this team angry.

THey were saying on the radio, the official didn't have to pull the penalty on Riq and shouldn't have but should have just yelled at him to get the hell out of there. In the same manner that the official came over and protected JSN in that Texas game. Basically the official was being a jerk. They could have flagged one of the Rams player when he came over earlier and was jawing at MM but didn't.

I was not impressed with the job they did. I think Seattle was the team they decided was going to get the yellow hankies. It seemed
uneven to me but I had a dog in the fight

I have a couple of complaints.

You call the PF on Riq for Taunting?

Okay fine.

WHERE THE F--- WAS THE TAUNTING ON KINCHENS AFTER SACKING DARNOLD?? HE WAS BASICALLY DANCING AND SHAKING HIS ASS RIGHT IN SAM'S FACE WHILE SAM WAS ON THE GROUND!!!

Also one other gripe, the Non-called PI on Rashid Shaheed.

He was obviously pushed long before the ball got there and there was no call.

The person on the broadcast (I forget his name) claimed that the ball could've been ruled as uncatchable but that makes zero sense as Shaheed could've made the catch with a toe-drag but never got the chance.

Oh and one more thing :

The ruling of JSN out of bounds after letting the clock run 30 seconds off and then stopping the game to reset it back to 3:00 minutes. WTF?

It seemed that every call was going against the Seahawks in the first half. Which is what I expected from the refs anyway. We know that the NFL and most everyone else wanted the Rams to be in the show. Glad it didn't happen.

ALLLLLLL OF THIS. I was fuming when Kinchens did his dance right in front of Darnold but his back was towards him so I thought "They're not going to call that" but also "Yeah, dance while you can LOSER, and keep dancing while you're in cancun"

But also I see red when people say the DPI on Shaheed wasn't catchable. DID YOU NOT SEE THE BALL HIT HIM IN THE HELMET?! It was VERY CATCHABLE had he not been pushed early, but it's not even the first time the Rams got away with a DPI in the NFCCG and it probably won't be the last either.

I don't have any problems with the Refs. They "let them play" and didn't make the game about themselves.

It looked like the Ref told Riq to knock it off, Riq ignored him and turned back to the Rams sideline, and I don't know what he said then, but it made the Ref pull his flag. That's a legit call, and totally on Riq.

The Ref went out of his way to defuse it, and Woolen went right in flapping his jaw.

Could have been worse considering the rams have been getting all the calls ever since they moved back to LA.

I was prepared for us to get completely hosed, but by rams games officiating standards it was kind of even.

It just hit me; I hope the ref in my avatar that JSN pissed off isn't on the SB crew.
