Does anyone care or watch? Maybe the time differential makes it difficult to tune in. Lindsay Vonn crashed and burned today after courageously trying to go on one knee of which was replaced. Tough way to end a career and comeback attempt for her...

moments into her first jump, hits a gate and breaks her leg.. Lindsey had to be airlifted. Don't know anything about the gal except that she always looks delightful, so just an awful..injury for her.

That's what I've been reading that she raced because of the sponsorship money and documentary crew following her around...add a broken leg to the injuries...not a great ending.

Its gonna be a war...these teams hate each other. Just so much animosity between the two countries.

I usually pay some attention to the Olympics. But this year close to zero. Still on a Seahawks Championship high.

The real animosity was between the Canadian and Swedish men's curling teams in the infamous "double-touching" incident. Cheating accusations and F-bombs were flying.

We are expecting more sportsmanship in today's hockey gold match.

Missed the first period. U.S. was the better team for the first half of the second period, but then Canada started dominating both TOP and shots on goal for the rest of regulation. Goaltender Hellebuyck was flat-out amazing, including preventing any goals when Canada had a 5-3 advantage for nearly 2 full minutes. Canada was no slouch in OT either, but in the end, U.S. had a nice assist/goal to win. This was one of the more intense hockey match-ups I've ever seen.

I will say on paper Canada was the "better" team, but heart, guts, will and desire are intangibles that apparently team Canada did not have.

Really disappointed in McKinnon because he plays for my favorite team, all you had to do was take your silver, and your stupid stuffed animal and say we will get them next time and STFU. Hockey has always had an unspoken class to it, but like everything else its losing its soul.
