To me it was the Kearse catch because of the come back. Sherman just did what we expect him to do, the come back that culminated with the Kearse catch was very nice surprise!

Not gonna vote because they are both equal. How about another option to vote for them both being just as important?

The Tip was more of a stunned awe. The Kearse Redemption was about screaming myself silly. There is no picking between the two.

Because of the Super Bowl win, I say The Tip. If we go on to win the Super Bowl this year, I think the Kearse TD and the comeback before will become one of those moments/games that they will be showing on NFL reels 100 years from now. If we lose in two weeks, I think it gets forgotten over the years by almost everyone outside of Seahawk fans.

The tip for sure. I'm a fan of defense that wins games.

The Tip needed the interception to complete it. It was a great play at the biggest moment but no greater than the 4th down TD pass in that same championship game.
This Kearse catch is a less-athletic individual play but captures a moment which defines what this Seahawks team is all about....heart, resilience, brotherhood and faith in each other despite all odds. Truly miraculous how the whole team had to keep believing and never quit. It took every player on the field and every play in those waning moments to get this win. That game was a microcosm of this team's journey thus far.

I voted for the tip, just because I felt that was a better game.

That game felt like 2 heavy weights playing at their absolute peaks.

Sunday's game, while amazing, will always be underscored by just how sloppily both teams played at times.

I voted for last year's play. The excitement it generated was on a higher level. When Kearse won the game last Sunday, it completed a drive that I think most Hawks fans expected to end in a TD. Not to mention, last year's play got Russell Wilson to his first SB. You could argue that Seattle won their first SB that night psychologically. The fact that it came over the 49ers is huge too.

I think both these plays are over-rated anyway. Seattle was an overwhelming favorite to win the game when the ball was snapped on the tip play. SF had less than 30 seconds and needed a TD with a QB who was miserable in the red zone for his entire career against Seattle. When Kaepernick gets close to the end zone he basically morphs into Dan McGwire. The 49ers statistical win probability at that point in the game was less than 25%, but their actual probability was probably closer to 5% given Kaep's history. I felt completely safe during that last drive.

With the Kearse catch vs. GB, it was basically the least amazing component of Seattle's insane comeback.

In both cases, it's not really the play, but the game that proceded it that was so awesome. But we have to pick a moment, don't we? And I guess the game winner is the logical choice. For me though, It's the 4th in 7 in the 2013 NFCCG, and the Matthews onside kick recovery in the 2014 version.

The tip showed our identity as a defense.

The catch showed our will to fight and never give up.

Both, a statement to who we are.

Perfectly said. Agree completely.

As for the OP, it's really hard to choose, but I voted for the tip because it was sort of a breakthrough moment for the franchise, IMO
