Surprises me as I've actually met Dana. I don't know the details and I hope he's not guilty as I'd hate to think anyone, let alone a former 49er would do something like that.

If he IS guilty tho...I say castrate him. Not cool.

I seriously question this. Dana apparently has been very accommodating from what I have read and he passed a lie detector test so things just look funny to me.

I would like to know what they mean by disabled. Is she mentally challenged? Or are we talking about a smokin hot babe with flat feet. Just saying disabled draws a pretty bad picture.

Also Dana says it was consensual. Seems if it wasn't it would be obvious and I doubt he would be taking polygraghs.

Interesting for sure though but I'll wait to pass judgement until more is known.

From what I've heard the term they are using is "mentally disabled". I have no idea what that means. I don't know if that means she has Downs Syndrome or just has a low IQ. No Clue.

I just read a few minutes ago that he's about to give a press conference so sounds like he's not hiding at all.

Hope its not true, but we shall see.

EDIT: Now saying "“developmentally delayed”

So she's a blonde?

Again, sounds bad but is it something that's obvious? Or are we talking about she was in the slow learning class?

If it is obvious and he just took advantage of it, he should get fried but not always that easy to tell.

You may be right...

Stubblefield's attorneys Tuesday said the woman texted him 22 times after the alleged rape, asking for money 10 times.

While this sounds like a shake down I'm not sure those text's completely clear him as texting your rapist 22 times often asking for money doesn't seem like the brightest move but again if she is just dumb that's one thing. If she really is mentally disabled to the tune of counting to potato then that is a completely different set of circumstances.

No offense intended for the webzoners that can't count to potato. If your offended I'm sure Dana will happily console you.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself but all in fun.

Nah...obviously doesn't clear him nor does the lie detector...especially since the DA HAD that evidense in hand when they elected to press charges. Something doesn't quite add up.

I laughed. I cried...from laughing so hard.
That's a riot. Elquapo aka Living, l is as delusional as they come. He was the guy when he existed here said last year the niners would have more wins then Sesttle. The guy and a few of his friends over there are off their rockers. Great entertainment though.

Wanna make some easy cash? Take Carolina at home and lay the 11.5 against Frisco in week 2. 9ers will be coming off the quite late (start time is 7:30 Pacific) Monday night game in week one and travelling all the way across the country to play in Charlotte at 10 AM week 2. They got screwed in a similar fashion last year having to travel to Pissburgh after playing the very late opening Monday night game and then play at 10 AM and got blown out. Gonna happen again this year.

The rich just keep getting richer. I love the fact the 49ers suck right now but I'm not good with the schedule makers making a public joke of it.

Last year the Vikings had to travel across country and play an evening game that for them would normally be close to bedtime and against a new scheme with no game tape. The Vikings essentially had no chance of winning that game.

Winning that game was as emotional as it was physical and very likely set them up for a massive let down week two when they had to play a healthy Steelers team at 10am with travel.

The outcome of those two weeks was pretty predictable.

This year they will have an advantage of new scheme but that is all and against a better team in the Rams so hard to call this one. I would actually give the 9ers the edge.

If the 9ers lose this game or even win close I think they keep it close the next week. If they win big (which I really don't see happening) or lose big I think they get blown out against Carolina. I do think they will lose week two but I wouldn't put money down until I knew how week one went.

Much less predictable than last year.

I'm fine with them being taken down a notch, especially after all of the fellating that Dilfer made us sit through for 3 hours.

What could go wrong?

Well we have Coach Kelly, Coach Baalke and Cooch York, look how he is holding the ball.

They're really changing things up this year... York was on the left instead of the right.

Betting spreads pre-season are always a joke....

Doesn't matter who you are a fan of....great team or garbage team.

It's as if they put the 49ers playing 17 games in parallel, week 1.

And when did you ever see 4 or 5 pick 'ems? You may see that many over 17 weeks for ALL NFL games....maybe.

Is that the begrudging way of saying the 49ers will win some games this year?

I'm a bit surprised at how bearish Vegas and the pundits are on the 49ers. It's as if they have to make up for predicting a 7-9 season last year, and go in the opposite direction over what should be a better team.

Even assuming no gain/loss on talent, you'd have to expect a better team under a better coaching staff.

BTW, I like how .NET loves to put the Vikings inability to win the season opener last year completely on a perfect storm of circumstances.

Sure, that played a role, I will not deny it.

But an eventual 5 win team wise does not beat up an eventual playoff team 20-3 just on pure fluke for the SEASON OPENER. Doesn't happen.

You don't even see that kind of upsets for Thursday Night games.

The easy explanation is that when the 49ers have a few things going right, they're still a good team. Run the ball, decent protection, and defense when not having to play in shootouts was still good.

You can have all the advantages you want, you still have to physically execute.

Mostly the 49ers suffered from coaching problems last year, and then some real OL issues early on. To think that they improved OL, get Hyde back, get 1000 times smarter offensive coaching and it means nothing is just insulting....
