This is the main reason I agree with the original poster--I believe that Ernest Jones, Derick Hall and Boye Mafe will play better than they did in the Week 16 game against the Rams.

Ernest Jones injured his knee in November, and missed two games (week 10 and week 12?). He came back to play well in the first Rams game (week 13), but really wasn't himself from weeks 13 to 17 when he had the lowest PFF grades of the season (37.0 vs. the Rams). He now seems back to being himself. (Btw, Jones wasn't himself in the first Rams' game either and probably shouldn't have played.)

Also in that game, Mafe (31.1) and Hall (50.6) both had their worst game, compared to their season average (Hall-72.1, Mafe 70.1). As a result, the Seahawks got no pressure on Stafford. If the Seahawks can get their usual amount of pressure rate against Stafford, they will be fine. In the first Rams game, both Mafe (78.4) and Hall (82.5) played out of their minds--McVay I'm sure took note of that and managed to account for them in the second game. Hopefully Macdonald can counter McVay in this next game.

As a minor note, in the last Rams' game, Tariq Woolen and Coby Bryant both missed parts of the game with injuries, too.

IF a Seahawk player STOMPS on Dotson in the first quarter, then yeah Rams might have less than 300 on offense.

IF Dotson is allowed to play, Rams are putting up over 500 on offense.
If you're not laying on your back all game your odds of getting ACCIDENTALLY STEPPED ON, or STOMPED as you call it drop significantly.

Who's going to be McVay's scapegoat when Shaheed returns another kick or punt for touchdown? The Rams special teams are turdible. They aren't even good enough to be called terrible.

Seattle is operating on a different level.

This game is at home in Seattle and it is the NFC Championship. I without a doubt, have no reason not to believe that the 12s at Lumen is such a big factor that the noise presented when the Rams is on offense will impact the Rams so much, Seattle, gets a lead and this shit is over! Like snowball effect!

I’m not even considering the other thing you are suggesting. Logically, I think Seattle, has too many advantages than the Rams have and it’s going to be very difficult for any team to get any momentum against Seattle at home.

Seattle wins in a LANDSLIDE!

Can't always give Puka free releases. Need to disrupt that timing.

The thing that hasn't been mentioned about the low total yardage for the Rams in the first game us the part of it was a result of short fields that we gave them after turnovers and then stopped them and forced field goals.

This is kind of similar to our relatively low yardage last week despite a huge win due to short fields.

Having said this, I hope we stop them repeatedly and keep them to their end of the field and turn them over a ton 😀

The thing is, our defense held them to 21 despite 4 turnovers. That was their third lowest of the season (the Texans and Ravens held them to 14 and 17 respectively). So, hand them the ball in our side of the field repeatedly and they only get 21 off of it?

I'm not saying that game is anything to brag about....but it was a pretty good showing by our defense.
