The Rams will have under 300 yards of offense

Fact is, and I have looked at the facts.

Rams with and without Dotson are a different team.

If Dotson plays the full game, Rams win.

ETA: one of your players should take out Dotson again. That is the way you win. (again.)

That's the key, though : Pounding the rock and eating clock.

The Running game has to be on-point like it was last week.

If we have a repeat performance by K9, we're winning this game going away.

If he struggles, then hopefully Holani and anyone else will need to pass-block well to give Sam time to throw the ball (hopefully making the smart passes and not allowing Shula to fool him again) to the open man.

Baby, you are NOT playing the injured NINERS for a third time. You have two lovely wins over a dead-ass injured team.

Enjoy it.

but, now you face a team prepared for you.

It hadn't really dawned on me, and I asked JTT out loud: have your last two games been against the Niners?

giggles. You are riding a high from beating an injured team.

This was an awesome read.
It really is, haha; and when I made that wager, I was like 90% sure the Seahawks were going to lose. Talk about a pleasant surprise in how it turned out in the end. I was also at that game with my ex, in 100-level seats not far from the sideline Marshawn ran down the sideline on the Beast Quake run for, it was phenomenal to see it live in person, and from 16-18-ish rows back from the field.

Yep, I was at that game as well. One for the ages. Good to see the outcome of the game also resulted in an equally epic thread.

Our defense is also on a whole new level since the last time your babies faced us. We'll see what happens.

Hug to you. I really appreciate you calling the Rams my babies. They are.

I am aware that your defense has been feeding on the Niners.

I have a personal struggle here as I am absolutely in AWE of what Mike MacDonald is doing. If I was in charge of stuff, he is like exactly doing it.

I AM SAYNG YES. he is amazing. He is solid. He is THE COACH you want your team to have.

But, that said. I do believe McVay wins this year. Not next year.

It was pretty prepared in the last meeting (they dropped over 500 yards of total offense) but we still found a way in that game to win.

I don't expect them to drop that insane amount in this game.

I expect this game to resemble more of the first meeting except without Sam throwing freebies but with our Running game being far better than it was in Week 11.

Dotson is good, but is he really that good?

Didn't Dotson play in the first meeting where we still had a shot at winning via a Game-Winning FG anyway despite the 4 turnovers?

Hug back to you; and I remember, that's why I said it. :) This is going to be a hell of a game either way, and I can't wait to watch it.

Whiners fans said exactly the same thing about Trent Williams.

Baby, you are NOT playing an 8-9 team just happy to be there (and just squeaking by them) or the 25th ranked scoring defense in the league (and just squeaking by them in OT). You have two lovely wins over marginal teams - I don't care that the Bears were the #2 seed, they simply weren't that good.

The two games against the Seahawks defense resulted in Stafford's lowest and highest passing yardage of the season. I think it's safe to say that both teams are prepared for each other. I'm sure you've seen the total stats of the two games - these two teams are as close as you can get. We're going to be seeing the next stage of the chess match between Mcvay and Macdonald. Special teams might be the difference (again)....I know which of those units is better. ;)

And it doesn't matter what kind of high the fans are riding. I'm really sure the players aren't riding the same high. They're prepping for a hard fought divisional game. We (the fans) can be as giddy as we want about ROFL-stomping the whiners, it won't affect this game.

I can see this happening. In week 11 the Rams only put up 249 yards, which is the norm for this defense. The only teams to score more that 21 points on us this year were the Bucs on an injury filled week, the Rams in week 16, and the Cards (22) and Titans (24), both getting garbage time TDs.

In week 16, the Rams put up a whopping 581 yards on a massive day by Stafford (457) and Nacua (225), but Mike McDonald took the blame for the poor defensive showing saying that he tried to put too much in on a short week which led to confusion and blown coverages in the secondary.

Given that the defense has given up 19 points in the 3 games since then -- 10 to the Panthers who put up 31 on the Rams in the wildcard, and 3+6 over two games to the 49ers who had put up 42 on the Bears the week before us and 23 on the Eagles in the wildcard round -- I would say our defense is improved since week 11 and week 16 was an outlier.

If I was a Rams fan, I'd be worried. They barely won a 4 INT game week 11, and then got taken to OT and beat on our worst defensive outing of the season in week 16. If the Seahawks just play to their average on offense and defense, the Rams may get blown out.

Dobson was out, but we were missing players on defense as well, we have our complete secondary and LB's now, we also have a Coach that can see what the Panthers and Bears did and understand it.

I would not be surprised to see some of that implemented, he is not a Pete or Holmgren and stubborn about adopting successful

Sometimes you need to throw the Babies out with the BATHWATER :)

That's my point. They will adjust and maybe bait Stafford into seeing ghosts. Macdonald will have answers
Yea they definitely have to take away that dagger concept over the middle. But not only that, Rams had a lot of success running on us with 13 personnel too. Our big nickel works great with every other team. Another reason why I don't like this match up.
