There are always surprises. Tenneseee had some. Minny had some. I’m sure Atlanta will be no different
Except Atlanta doesn't have Brian Flores.

I mean they do have a good pass rush.

Not going to take them lightly.

But a Brian Flores Defense is quite unique from other run-of-the-mill Defenses.

It also didn't help that Flores knew Darnold inside-and-out as well.

I mean even Houston's nasty Defense didn't stop the offense when we faced them.

That’s assuming the Houston defense was the same when they played us as it is now. It is akin to saying our defense is the same as the Tampa bay game.

Which, incidentally was what the defense needed to mutate.

What are you talking about?

The problem with Houston wasn't their defense.

Their defense was top-tier when we faced them.

The issue was their offense.

Why are people all of a sudden attempting to downplay this offense's past success?

This offense IS GOOD.

It made Houston's top defense (in particular their secondary) look ordinary.

It wasn't because their defense was bad that game.

Our offense MADE THEM look bad.

So by that logic the offense made the Vikings and Rams defense look good. Makes sense.
Okay... Fine.

You want to say our offense sucks and every win they've got thus far doesn't count because they didn't beat a "Good" team, to borrow a MontanaHawk'ism :

Go nuts.

I'm not in the mood to get into it with someone with that mindset.

All I'll say is that our offense is good and was instrumental in every victory (before this game) this season.

And the Texans were (and still are) a good team we beat.

Have a nice evening.

The evidence is certainly pointing towards teams understanding better how to defend against us. The Vikings and Rams game are pretty strong evidence of that. We just got to hope we find a manageable fix for dealing with crowded fronts and high pressure looks; particularly from the right hand side.

I don’t believe I said the offense sucks. I did infer it isn’t as good (hopefully yet) as it could be. Next few weeks will tell. These things are best approached with a bit of poise and rationality.

The answer to that is simple :

Screens and Dump-offs.

The NFC has become a cluster f$#@ of teams with 7, 8 or 9 wins and most play each other down the stretch. The race for the playoffs may actually be better than the real thing. Time to jockey for position. Let go Hawks!!!!
They certainly do. And if KK can't get his head out of his ass and scheme around blitzkreigs.... I'm gonna send him a copy of:

We have never been a strong screen game ; I’d prefer to see more quick outs to JSN and Kupp (ie the surest hands on the team) but KK is seemingly set in how he wants the offense to run
