On 1st and 25 Wilson completed a ball to Lockett for a 16 yard gain. I don't think I have ever seen Wilson throw a harder ball. I'd love to know what the mph on that pass was.

Funny you mention that, we were talking about how it must hurt like a mother to catch one of those things. And without the crowd, you can hear the thump of the ball. He's caught some this year that were flat your rocket shots. Great hands and ridiculous reflexes. He's just a really really good football player. His feel for the game is pretty underrated league-wide imo.

The officiating was horrible last night. Clearly some “steering” going on.

Lockett did not catch that pass cleanly because it nearly took his hands off. Wilson's trust with his receivers is on a different level right now.

Well in game 1, if Olsen hadn't caught that TD pass Russ threw to him it might well have imbedded itself into his facemask.

And how many players get BETTER after a huge contract? WAY too often contacts look bad after the fact. Russ is not only getting better, you could argue he's the best in the league. Not saying he IS, but if he's not, he's 1A.
