Long before I was blessed to see this...


I saw this...

It was eerie to me: RW with a hat on, the skittles falling like confetti. After a great game in Arizona, THIS is the picture that had me thinking: "I think we're going to win it all this year."

Just throwing this out there to see if anyone else had the same reaction?

I remember that...For me, it was this photo of Russ at a practice sometime in 2012. I immediately doctored it to put the Lombardi in his hand. It. Just. Felt. Right.

Looking at it now, amazing the uniform was even right.

I felt weird about how much this picture gave me confidence because I've been so used to being superstitious but it just felt right...and now I know why HOIST!!!!!!!

That's nuts I never realized there was a Lombardi patch in that picture. That pic came out before Wilson was even a CAPTAIN, so most people focused on how the "C" patch had been added.

But yeah, that is crazy that it was the Super Bowl uniform EXACTLY. A full year before it happened.

Every night before I went to sleep this postseason, I used to see this image of Wilson in confetti, holding the Lombardi. I wondered if I was being delusional. I tried to see Brees, Kaep, Manning, et al. Never worked. Always Wilson, as if the future was opening up to me.

I have a photo of the team working out on Hermosa Beach, my stomping grounds. I can see one of my favorite breakfast spots in the background. Not sure why they were down here, but I saw the pick just before the Super Bowl, and I knew ... I knew ...
