I saw 5 dropps out there not 8, what are you guys counting everytime a ball touches any part of a receiver as a drop? Not sure I would agree with that. Still even the 5 probably doubled about what they had all year... not Good!

Turbin- obvious drop
Tate- one off his chest, one down the sidelines when they should have called PI- but he got to the ball and got both hands on it, and one just a couple plays later at the 5 when he had position on his guy...he could've caught all three
Rice- later in the game when he didn't come back to the ball...instead he sat there and let the DB break it up- the ball was right in his hands
Lynch- check down late...not a great throw but def catchable
Moore- hit him in the chest
Edwards- had the ball in his hands, in the end zone...brought it down on Willis's helmet and it popped right out.

No one in the passing game had a good game. The drops were ugly, Wilson's play in the second half was ugly, the play calls sometimes seemed pretty bad...it was just very bad all around. There is absolutely no question in my mind that everyone, including RW3 shares the blame and deserves the criticism.

Turbin: yes (obviously)
Tate: 1 huge drop, COULD have caught the other two but they were not drops
Rice: no way. He was covered like a glove and Wilson floated it out there
Lynch: Meaningless...he wasn't getting the first down even if he caught the ball
Moore: yes
Edwards: this one boggles my mind. Covered on every side with guys draped all over him. He made a good play just to get to the ball first. Nowhere near a drop.
Tate's 3rd down slant drop, Turbin, and Moore were the killers.

We pretty much only ran the ball in the second half, so if you are going to be upset with that statistic, please send Darryl Bevell an email asking him why he stopped calling passing plays. RW was electric in the first half and should have been around 200 yards and a TD.
Clearly, people knee-jerk and go purely off of statistics. If you think a major part of the blame goes onto RW's shoulders, you are NOT an objective football watcher. How about our linebackers missing their assignments over and over again in the running game? And on top of that, being absolutely horrendous in the passing game on check downs. Frank Gore was CONSTANTLY wide open in the middle of the field with no LB in sight. How about our D-line getting completely blown off the ball 3/4 of the game. 5 drops is inexcuseable for NFL wide receivers.
The majority of our team went out to the field in warm ups, dropped heat all over it, and went to the locker room before kick off.

Wilson. He did everything! He can't be expected to win a game by
himself. Another glass of koolaid please.
