Dude, LDS was for Captain Kirk to talk about regarding Spock. LSD was what people exploring their inner self was for in the 60's. What you are talking about must include some serious stuff, even better than the things mentioned earlier. You should try to market it to the universities in southern California.

The guy making this thread makes no sense at all. Out of all the professional sports in America, the NFL is the most small market friendly...

Ok, I ask you then, does the league make more money off of TV revenue (billions of $), or empty stadiums where fans stay home because of a losing team.....??
Do viewers tune out of a game that is decided by 1/2 time or do we try and keep them in their couches at home for the 2nd half so our TV package is attractive to our Billion $ supporters, mmmmmm lets see if that can make a little sense.... :sarcasm_on:

all I'm trying to imply is the bias towards this team in general and its owner, and for obvious reasons, if you cant see the trees that make up the forest then
I'm sorry....... :sarcasm_off:

You brought up small markets so I brought up teams. If you made it more clear then me and others would understand more of what you are saying...But the truth is the NFL don't have problems with small markets. Do they favor some teams more than others? Yes. But I don't see prejudice against the small market teams like I do in the NBA. If the NFL cared so much about the market wouldn't LA have a team by now..? Not saying the league doesn't care about market size and it's be foolish to think they don't but in my opinion the brand of football sells itself already without the need of major market help like the NBA or MLB. Just look at college football and teams like Alabama, Oregon, Oklahoma or Nebraska I wonder how big are those markets.

It is a successful business model, it is evident to be sure, but it is a business at the end of the day and mostly I was frustrated to the point of coming hear (sic) to say that all NFL ref'd games are controllable to a degree and even the players, coaches and owners understand that there (sic) futures depend on keeping the stands as full as possible and the TV execs rolling in green.... but mostly at the end of the day the NFL/Super Bowl is always going to want a story line that will sell to millions of viewers so they can reap their $$ bottom line......now this Owner and Executive group he put together are putting a great team, and a story line out their that looks like is gaining some traction....fabled 12th man, outrageous stadium, marketable players and well, we'll see if the rest is as we like to say SeaHawk "History"..... Peace :sarcasm_off:

Just answer me this riddle,
Who is Phat rich, foiled the NFL plans for this team's relocation, hired J&P, and built a stadium that amplifies 65,000 screaming fans voices so loudly that they have to hear them 3,000 miles away

that's the phesis.....

I can remember when you'd watch SportsCenter and not see any highlights of the Seahawks game unless they played a really popular team.

There were days that you didn't even see a score.

Those days are long gone now that our team is winning, popular among fans (12th man is travelling better than ever) and is relevant to changing the landscape of the NFL playoffs. We're getting plenty of media love, and in true ironic fashion, there are tons of fanbases out there that already can't stand us and are lumping us in with the Patriots and Packers as getting the media slobber fest.

I find it ironic, as they've rarely had to deal with us being in the media overmuch in the 30 some-odd years of our franchise existence. To those fan bases I say just this: Deal With It !

Like a lot of us have said over the years "if you want media attention and respect, start winning"

Last line is so true :!:

LMAO that is a dumb reason why they hate our owner plus Roger Goodell wasn't even the commish back then in 1996. If anything wouldn't they hate the St. Louis Rams more for leaving LA..? And to top it off the Rams won a super bowl after leaving...This thread is dumb and pointless I don't know why I even bothered posting here. #Done
