I truly love coming here and reading many of ya'all's post, for that I say Thank you!!

P.A. has also shown his ability to see a problem and quickly address and fix it, by hiring a great football motivator and coach, with a keen awareness of where his players are coming from and what motivates most if not all of them and also by bringing in such a great group of like minded Men to coach and run this organization from Schneider(GM & draft) to Erik Kennedy(equipment)

But......The NFL (still, probally always will) has such a hard on for Mike Holgrem in the day, for having the cahonies in calling out the true nature of this sport (business model) (tired but true rehash of 2005) this franchise owner's intelligence and deep pockets (for that I say thank you evil empire) in implementing our unique home court advantage bringing on the passion of the fans and creating the 12th man legend, and thwarting the move to a large market, LA ..

The RedZone on this Sunday showed just how biased the NFL Network is, by showing tons of action of other teams(our favorite Steelers 2-6 team) playing eastern time zone games, between the RedZones, but very little of the Hawks and Hawks game.....The ( NFL ) Refs have such a control of the flow and tenure of the games that their calls or non calls cannot be overlooked or discounted in every win or Loss ... this board has shown a few of the obvious ones .... And the lack of objective, honest reporting by the network shows except ESPN.

Its a Long Hard Road to Super Bowl XLVIII, and when this team makes it there, it won't because their the Media darlings, or the flavor of the month, hell it won't even be because Richard Sherman talked the team their, it will be because of Paul Allen's heart and his wallet, and hiring the best Men to Coach and lead the best team, without a doubt.........Go Hawks!!

What are you talking about prejudice against small markets in the NFL? Green Bay & Pittsburgh are small market teams and how many titles have they won..? They are two of the more storied franchise in the NFL. Tampa Bay & St. Louis won a SB in the modern era and are also smaller markets. Now let's compare the NFL to the NBA...

The NBA is a league that is anti-small market. You don't ever hear teams like Utah, Sacramento, Millwaukee or Minnesota having a fair shot at winning the title. And I don't consider San Antonio a small market they are in Texas...The last true small market team in the NBA to win a title was the Blazers in the 70s. Outside of Portland not considered a big market in my books was....Seattle which we all know is a mid market team that won in 79. Also if you want to count Miami as a mid market which I don't considerint that they are located in southern Florida and have superstars that help promote the NBA globally. So if you are counting championships in my books the last true small market team to win a title was over 30 years ago and the last true mid market to win a title was Seattle in 79..

Even baseball with no salary cap, the smaller market teams have a better chance than the NBA. Just look at teams like the Minnesota Twins, St. Louis Cardinals & Oakland A's in baseball, they all have won multiple titles...

You aren't alone. I think someone's been testing the product.

If your truly interested in testing the Product, go watch professional wrassling, and then watch the NFL, and then ask yourself honestly if Bread and Circuses aren't the Product their peddling....

Theirs a Phesis for ya, but I sure love my bread and circuses :sarcasm_on:

The guy making this thread makes no sense at all. Out of all the professional sports in America, the NFL is the most small market friendly...

I can remember when you'd watch SportsCenter and not see any highlights of the Seahawks game unless they played a really popular team.

There were days that you didn't even see a score.

Those days are long gone now that our team is winning, popular among fans (12th man is travelling better than ever) and is relevant to changing the landscape of the NFL playoffs. We're getting plenty of media love, and in true ironic fashion, there are tons of fanbases out there that already can't stand us and are lumping us in with the Patriots and Packers as getting the media slobber fest.

I find it ironic, as they've rarely had to deal with us being in the media overmuch in the 30 some-odd years of our franchise existence. To those fan bases I say just this: Deal With It !

Like a lot of us have said over the years "if you want media attention and respect, start winning"

Yes you have a point, well received!! but can you also admit that they are as you stated "They are two of the more storied franchise in the NFL"...... and don't even bring up the business model that is the NBA, and the way they conducted their extortion on this small market and its political leaders and citizens.....and if I was a baseball fan I could argue your point on that better, maybe, but .....

This is much more than a small market post/issue, please re-read post, all I'm trying to imply is the bias towards this team in general and its owner, and for obvious reasons, if you cant see the trees that make up the forest then
I'm sorry....... :sarcasm_off:
