What a relief to watch a defense finish the game (and not because Belichick makes a dumb play call).
Game Balls:
Dunlap. I mean, wow. Win a game bud.
Lockett. I hate when he disappears in our game plan, he's such a tool, especially on those quick routes to the sideline.
Offensive Line. This is an odd one, but I felt they did a good job with a heavy blitz from AZ with letting Russ have a semblance of a pocket.
Gameplan. Good to see them be prepared for the blitz packages and not just let Russ die in the pocket.
LBs. KJ did a great job shutting down the run today. Drake & Edmonds are no joke and they were shut down for the most part. Murray only having 15 yards too?
Diggs. Flying around the field, knocking balls out, providing help on deep balls.
When Fitzgerald leads in receptions you know that the defense showed up. He's the king of the 6 yard pass and dive for the first down.
This was a feel-good game after a 3 real feel-bad games. This team is what it is... above average. I'll take my chances with RW in the playoffs all day.
