No.. it was meant to be core. Like core of the team. But nice catch mayne. Context issue.
SMH. You just can't admit it! ;)

Fail.

I have no issues with it. I support your grammar Naziness. While banned I covered you on policing punctuation and spelling. I even dedicated an Apple rant to you.

It works both ways and you know it. It's OK, I already admitted it was a good catch, but one of the few you will get from my fingertips. Biatch. Or is it Biotch? ;)

We'll I'm just gonna skip out on the whole Wilson/Kap conversation because it can't go anywhere good

All I'll say is look at Kaeps numbers last year pre and post Crabs return to get an idea about what I'm talking about RE more weapons. Again...won't respond to the "head on straight" comment. We've argued that one long enough.

He's a hack.. just admit it and start talking 2015 draft Marvin.

I just finished watching the 2012 Super Bowl. I'm telling you, KaeperSpaz should run a lot more. Kaeperchoke looked like a distressed Trent Dilfer until the power outage. Then 2 things happened, Ngata went out (HUGE) and the senior citizen roster of the Ravens couldn't muster the energy back up. Kaeperchoke got those wheels going, man that dude can run. Heck, I am thinking that after he bombs as a QB that he will make an exceptional WR or receiving TE.

Then the big game Kaeperchoke showed up as soon as he got in scoring position. I swear, the guy is more dangerous from the 35 than he is inside the 20. :p

Kaep is a better QB than alot on here give credit to.

Outside of playing the Seahawks he has actually played pretty well.

For his career both season and postseason he has thrown 16ints, 7 of those are against the Seahawks

Just taking out the games against the Seahawks last year he was:

246/417 59% 3318yards 22TD 5int 97QBrating

If he can improve on his ability to go through reads and make smarter decisions he could be one of the best young QBs. I dont like the guy at all but aside from playing the Seahawks he has been pretty effective.

I'm not sure about those numbers. As a passer the dude hardly eclipsed 3k yards with the Seahawks games included.

Maybe you are including the playoffs or something, but that isn't all that great either. I'm not saying that he isn't really talented, but lets not get carried away. Not to get into a Kaeperchoke/Wilson argument but with 10 less attempts RW had 5 more TDs, nearly 200 more yards, well over 60% with 10 yards a game more and 1 more interception. That is just putting it into perspective and Wilson didn't start the season at home with a 400+ yard preseason game against GB with no defense.

Crabtree and Johnson? What is that REALLY going to do in a system like the Niners with a QB that knows where he is throwing the ball before he takes the snap?

I like the way Kaeperstank plays. He is fun to watch, especially on the run. He passes the eye test when he is launching rockets and running, but force him to throw the ball with touch and get pressure on him and he gives up that ass like a cheap crack whore in Detroit.

He can make big runs when under pressure if he takes off early, but he is careless with the ball in the pocket while moving around. I mean really careless. He does look like a Demi-God against weak defenses but tends to struggle against good ones. Like Carolina and NOLA, even Indy. I should note that he played well against AZ and STL.

I dunno about that guy, I think that he is the most physically gifted QB I have seen since Cunningham, but his head just isn't on straight. He could be really special if he can get the game to slow down, but when he melts down he doesn't do it half-assed. If he doesn't stop trying to force passes like he did with Kam x2, Sherm x2, Hyde and the guy in Carolina (especially in the playoffs) he will cost the Niners games.

This is a guy that said he would have taken that shot to Crabs one on one everytime, no matter who was covering him. Sounds kind of silly, even if he was just trying to show confidence, because there is absolutely no reason to have that confidence

Those numbers include the 3 playoff games he played in as well FYI. Well the other 2 since the 3rd was against the Seahawks.

Well then they still aren't that great.

If you want to take his 2 or 3 worst games out of it, let's go one further and take the GB game out of it, because that is just as much as an anomaly as playing Seattle's defense. Now how do those numbers look?

This might sound nuts but SF's offense might be more effective if they ran the wildcat a lot more. The downside would be he'd be taking a lot of hits.

Right. That's why half his 300 yards in the game were in the first half. Lol.

He threw an INT and couldn't punch it in for a TD, but he was moving the ball in the first half. What killed them was that INT, the James fumble, and the D uncharacteristically allowing TDs on several drives.

EDIT: Oh, BTW, it was also just his 10th NFL start.

I was just taking the Seattle games out of it because thats probably what alot of posters only see and against Seattle he has been downright terrible.

Even so against the NFC west(regular season) this year he wasnt so bad...compare him to Wilson and Luck

Kaep 6 games
124/212 1,422yards 58.5 % 6.71avg 8TD/ 3INT 85.5 QB rating

Luck 4 games
82/141 904yards 58.2% 6.41avg 4TD/4 INT 74.9 QB rating

Wilson 6 games
77/141 995yards 54.6% 7.06avg 9TD/3INT 89.4 rating

I think Wilson is way better than Kaep and better than any of the young QBs but Kaep is not as bad as everyone would paint him to be on here.

Kinda what I'm sayin. I have my own opinion RE Wilson/Kap but not interested in getting into it here as nothing good could come of it.

Bottom line for now, Wilson has a ring and Kap doesn't.

I've been saying all along that Kap is simply better than he gets credit for here. It's a rivalry tho and to be expected. He's also still developing and far from a finished product. Same can be said of both Wilson and Luck.

Damn it, you're both wrong. It's clearly "corpse." As in, "the corpse of Anquan Boldin along with the shambling zombies of failed promise that are Michael Crabtree and Stevie Johnson won't do much to beat the Legion of Boom this year."

Better than he gets credit for? Where? Here? What is it that we don't know about Kaeperchoke again? The guy gets a lot of credit for being the athlete he is. We didn't make the guy's stats up. There isn't a "well if you take out this and that" factor. The guy is a great football player that chokes. How is that for credit?

I think Kaeperstank gets a lot of credit from guys on this board. I think right now it is the best thing the Niners have going. He can be dangerous all on his own. Beating the Niners is no easy task, a big part of that now is due to Kaeperchoke.

I don't see KaeperBashing as an obsession, I see it as fun. He was part of the path the Hawks took to their first championship. Heck, his part was a big part of it.

He isn't Brady, Rodgers or Brees, but he is a lot better than most with more experience and more importantly to us, not as good as Wilson. :)
