There's a bit of a myth that a Rams win will clinch them the division. Not so. Seattle can still get a tiebreaker with some mild luck. This is the rooting chart for us for the next 2 weeks. If enough of these break our way, we just need to take care of business. If you don't believe me, go plug these into the ESPN Playoff Machine with the Seahawks winning out and the Rams beating the Cards. It is accurate. The Packers are helping us right now, and while a few are unlikely, I still think there's a puncher's chance.

If you put a win over the Bears, plus a Rams win over the Cards in the NY Times playoff simulator, you get this:

The Seahawks are 3-6 at home, if they win their last two games they will be 7-1 on the road.
The Cardinals beat the Rams 41-10 in week 2 and beat the 9ers 24-23 in week 5. The Rams are 8-2 in their last 10 games with an average margin of victory of 6 points, their largest victory was 10 points.
The NFC west has pretty equitable competition top to bottom, anyone can beat anyone.
Even in Seattle it seems.

It's been bizarre this season in that regard. There's so little divisional parity that the 4-11 Bears who have lost nine straight games are tied for the second-best record among teams in their division cellar. The Panthers just joined them yesterday.

If you all don't lose to the Bears....it is a problem for the Rams.

(if the Cards win).

Nah. If the cards beat the Rams then the last game is for the division even if Seattle loses to chicago. Beyond seeding the game vs Chicago is near meaningless

Freaking New York Giants. Giants. Playing 3000 miles from home. Starting a dude that is getting waived so they can roll with Joe Pesci and (now) Drew Lock instead. It wasn’t even a one score loss.

We will, more than likely, be watching a Seahawk-less playoffs because Olive Garden breadstick eating champ of the year Brian Daboll rolled us at home. A franchise whose favorite player goes by the nickname “Tommy Cutlets”. A team that’s won one game since dominating us like the gimp.

JFC..

Lol the old "We need 7 teams to tie and 14 teams to lose to make the playoffs". If I ever get trauma/PTSD in my life...it's because of the Seahawks
